This Airhead Self Centering Cable Tow Harness is a combination of our popular self-centering rope feature with a durable cable. The extra long 14 ft. cable fits most larger boats. As the stainless steel pulley glides along the cable, it keeps the tow point centered for the optimum pull at all times. Tow rope hook-ups are easy with the heavy duty Kwik-Connect. Designed for water skiing, wakeboarding, knee boarding and 1 or 2 rider towables up to 340 pounds. Featuring 2,375 lbs. of tensile strength. Hook opening width 1/2.

So far so good. Slide some dollar store pool noodles over the wire where they connect to the boat and the cable stays floating well away from an outboard motor. Definitely an upgrade from the rope style bridle setup.

Works fine, be sure you check the length you need, I ordered the longer version but could have gotten by fine with the shorter model. It is heavy duty and well made....could use a bit more floatation at the attachment point to keep it up and prevent it sinking under prop when slack but not a big issue. ... show more

This item is a must have if you pull a tuber with your boat. Good design. I had to put pool noodles on the cable part of it to keep it floating to keep away from propeller. Works well.

    • Dangerous Does NOT Float
The Air Head tow harness does NOT float. It has a floatation attached to it but it is NOT buoyant enough to keep the cable from sinking. When it sinks it falls on the impeller creating an unsafe condition. The two hooks are also too small to completely clip over my attachment rings.

Great harness! I have a bay liner and we love wakeboarding. Instead of purchasing a $1000+ wakeboard tower, I hooked this up to the tube rope hook up, attach the wakeboard rope, and we are ready to go. The self centering is huge! You won't lose as much speed with this harness because of this amazing feature. And we need all the speed we can get ;D ... show more

Bought to use with pontoon to pull tube. Installed and right away new there was a problem. It did not float it sunk right down around the outboard prop. There was no way to use it with pontoon.
