Description

Two people can carve turns with SLASH II! Both riders simply lean in the direction they want to turn and pull on the opposite handle. The plastic fins sewn onto the side of the cover do the carving. SLASH II is so much fun that you’ll want to ride it all day long! You just might be able to, since it’s so easy to re-board with the open back design, a feature that little ones and tired adults really appreciate. SLASH II has a 30-guage PVC bladder and is fully covered with double stitched 840-denier nylon, making it torsionally rigid to respond to rider’s commands. It’s equipped with a Kwik-Connect, Boston valve, and 4 nylon-wrapped handles with neoprene knuckle guards. 58 " x 48 " (deflated). Designed for 1 or 2 riders. Patented.

  • Ripped at seam after 4 outtings but airhead took great care of me and quickly!
Style: 1 Rider
I have had many airhead tubes over the years. I know how to inflate them properly and I take great care of them. This one failed at a unpatchable seam on its 4th outing. It failed 1 year and 1 days after the purchase date (6-17-20) but exactly 1 year from the delivery date (6-20-20). Of course I did not use it the day it was delivered so not even close to one year in and 4 rides and it ripped. Now airhead has no replacement tubes and this model is discontinued. So I contacted airhead and went through the warranty claim process. After picking out a available tube airhead quickly shipped it to me and even though it was $50.00 more than my broken tube they covered it! Great customer service! ... show more

  • Good tube.
Style: 1-2 Rider
The media could not be loaded. Decent tube. Plenty of sliding. Easy to reboard. The bottom section doesn't have a speed valve in it, so it kinda stinks when you want to deflate it, if we're knit picking. Back corners have started to fray a bit, but I assume you'll have that (all of my tubes have started). Probably pulled it behind a jet ski for a minimum of 12 hours, kids have used it as a float in the water for at least that, too. Holds air. Doesn't submarine. ... show more

  • Fun times
Style: 1-2 Rider
First time setting it up, it was easy. Had a great time on the water. Nice and sturdy for lots of waves.

  • Nice tube, fun for kids
Style: 1-2 Rider
This has been a great tube, only negative thing I can think of is the bottom of the tube has a zipper which if not properly inspected when the tube is blown up can unzip, has happened a few times, it's an easy fix, but requires deflating and re inflating the tube. Also it doesn't seem to be a problem if you check to make sure the zipper pull is folded down and locked prior to inflating, the pressure from the air in the tube holds the zipper in the locked position and it doesn't unzip. Rides great or so the kids tell me...they have learned to lean and cut with the tube, lots of fun....will hold two average sized adults, but more comfortable for one rider. Seems to be holding up well after 3 seasons of light to moderate use., no leaks but starting to see some fraying around the grab handles. ... show more

  • Like an inflatable knee board for 2!
Style: 1-2 Rider
This is a really fun small inflatable. If you have ever knee-boarded its a simpler version of that. There are two fins are the back of the inflatable that allow you to steer the inflatable behind the boat. This is not the most stable inflatable so be prepared to fall out while your getting the hang of it. In terms of the number of riders, yes 2 adults could fit at a stretch but we personally think this is best for a single rider or one adult with a child/small teen. We've had this towable for 2 summers and it is held up really well with heavy usage. I do think part of what helps is that we make sure the towable is completely dry before storing it inside the garage. ... show more

  • One of the most fun tubes we have
Style: 1-2 Rider
One of the most fun tubes we have. Perfect size for a single adult. You have a lot of control over it and can whip it side to side with ease. The back is low enough to the water that it is MUCH easier to get into when you are out in the water than most tubes. 100% satiafied with it in the water. So much fun! And fairly compact, it doesn't take up too much room when inflated. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because on our first one, the main plastic air valve melted and deformed when it was in the back of the truck. Granted, we do live in Arizona, but it wasn't left for days. BUT! Amazon replaced it immediately. In the future, we will just deflate it for transport to the lake. ... show more

  • GREAT for all ages, LOVE it!
Style: 1-2 Rider
This tube is great! I picked it thinking it would be easier for my 5 year old to ride in the kneeling position and easier for him to get on it in the water because of the open back. We have had all ages use it, from 20 months to 60 years. It is gentle enough for grandma to take a turn and our youngest to ride on it with an adult (while going slower). Our 5 year old no longer "allows" us to ride with him. He is always asking us to go faster and enjoys the gentle wave jumping he can do with this tube. We keep him behind the wake and it hasn't even came close to dumping him off. When it's time to kick it up a notch and have some excitement this tube doesn't fail. It is totally flip-able! Mom and dad can hop on for a turn and jump waves, steer it outside of the wake and have a blast. I would absolutely recommend this and I will buy another one once this one wears out! ... show more
