This rope was bought to use with a HO brand really wide slalom ski. The long “vee” design of the handle and rope allows the skier to keep their ski pointed up while they wait for the boat to get going. I am decent on 2 skis but couldn't get up on one ski. This helped a lot! I was able to get up, although I didn't stay up long, but great first tries of the summer. Was never able to do it last summer. Sounds silly, but if you need help having never slalom skied, this does help!

I used to slalom ski all the time as a kid and even into college. Tried getting back into it this year in my 40's and my older, fatter body definitely made it more of a challenge keeping centered over the ski at the start. I tried skiing again this summer after 20 years and bought this rope for the V to put the slalom ski in. Got up first try! So surprised! It’s far enough from the handle that I didn’t have to squish to fit the ski in and the handle was comfortable to grip.
