I needed a new comforter since the weather finally cooled down (at night at least) here in Southern California. My previous one was for summer. I don't like sleeping with too many layers and prefer a heavy comforter. This is as my title says, PERFECT. It's soft, luxurious, and has a nice weight to it. It does have that little crackling sound, but I don't mind. I immediately pulled off the lighter comforter and replaced it with this one. I actually can't wait to get into bed tonight because I know it's going to give me that cocoon feeling I like when I sleep when it's cold at night. I personally left it out on my bed once I took it out of the package. Not sure if i needed to, but I did. The duvet cover is in the wash as I type. The comforter has loops to tie it to so it's not just floating around inside. Love it! ... show more

I got this Feather & Down King Size Comforter awhile back. It is quite nice & soft. It is also comfy & warm. It didn’t smell like a couple of others I’ve had, which I greatly appreciate.(its also quiet). I put in dryer on low to fluff it up right before placing it. It lays well on the bed & fits really good. I like the baffle box construction. No. Seriously. I've only slept under the comforter for the past two days and I want to recommend it to everyone else. I'm so lucky I got a chance to try this under the program, and I don't know what I would've done with the comforter I had before which had become so thin and kept me cold unless I had two other blankets on top. We were excited when the comforter arrived. After unboxing and removing the plastic, the manufacturer recommends that the comforter be put into the dryer on a low heat setting. We placed the comforter in the dryer for 30 minutes on the lowest heat setting, and the comforter fluffed up nicely. My daughter decided that after feeling the comforter, she "had" to have it. We decided to let her keep the new comforter. She loves this comforter! What she loves the most about this comforter is the fluffiness and the way it keeps her warm at night. The best thing I like about this down comforter is that the feathers don't poke through. It is nice and fluffy and I plan to use a duvet cover over it, to keep it nice.
