  • Kid & sleepover approved!
I picked up this Airefina queen air mattress mainly for sleepovers when my son has friends crashing at our place, and honestly, it's been a win all around. From the moment we unpacked it, I could tell it was a notch above the flimsy blow up beds we've dealt with before. The material feels solid, the built in pump is a breeze to use, and it actually offers some decent back support. You know what's great? It inflates in about three minutes flat. Just twist the dial and boom, it's ready to go. No awkward manual pumping or guessing if it's firm enough. The surface is soft and velvety, but it's also waterproof, which is ideal when snacks inevitably make their way into the sleepover zone. And it's firm, not in a rock hard way, but enough that you don't feel like you're sinking into a pool float. We put a comforter on it and then some sheets and a blanket with a pillow and it's super comfy. Pros: + Inflates in around 3 minutes with the built in pump + Strong 750 lb capacity (yes, it can handle a whole family pile on) + Flocked top is soft, breathable, and waterproof + Feels stable and quiet thanks to the non slip bottom + Packs down nicely into the included carry bag Cons: - The built in pump is a bit loud but it only runs for a few minutes so it's not a big deal - It's a bit heavy to put away at almost 20 pounds but it's a queen size so that's probably normal Who it's ideal for: - This is a great pick for parents, frequent hosts, or anyone needing a reliable spare bed that doesn't take up space - It's comfy enough for guests to get actual sleep, and tough enough for kids to use regularly My final thoughts: If you're on the fence about getting another "temporary" mattress, this one's worth considering. It doesn't feel temporary, and that's kind of the point. ... show more

  • Much better materials than older ones
These new air mattresses are so much better than the older ones, or should I say any of them that are older than 5 or 6 years old. They are made from a thicker vinyl and just don't leak as bad if any and they definitely dont get holes in them as easily as they use to. This air bed is no exception and with the built in pump it makes inflating and deflating a breeze. What's nice about the pump being built in is that there is also a place to store the cord right next to the controls of the pump. There is a big dial that you turn either to inflate, hold, or deflate. Thats it and all there needs to be. The air bed has the long tube like air chambers which are really nice. I have another newer air mattress by another company that has the pocket style air chambers. I can't tell you which I prefer yet as I have only had this one for a couple days and only have slept on it for 2 nights. Yes the first night it did " lose some air" but that is not really the case and all it is is the bed being fully stretched out. It was not even that bad unlike some others where I have been woken up to an almost half deflated bed. It also has a storage bag and comes with a repair patch if you happen to get a little hole which is nice. The double almost triple height of this air bed is the last great thing about it. Its not like sleeping on the floor and is so much closer to being like a real bed which I can not tell you enough how helpful that is the older I get cuz getting up off the floor after sleeping all night is a bit of a challenge now.Great air bed and if looking to replace or get your first this is a great choice. ... show more

  • Beyond Expectations!
My experience with other air mattresses was always really negative. They usually come with a hand pump that's a pain in the rear to use, or you have to buy an electric air pump that doesn't always fit the opening of the air mattress. This air mattress was the easiest air mattress I've ever set up! The electric pump is part of the mattress and has a small compartment where the cable stays. All you have to do is unroll the mattress and plug it in. There's a dial that you can set to inflate, and then you turn the dial the other way to deflate. It inflates in just a couple of minutes, and deflates just as quickly. It deflates all the way so that helps with getting it back into the carrying bag. The mattress itself is very thick material and quite heavy which is what you want with any air mattress. It held air quite well after laying on it for a while. With any air mattress that's new, you'll want to inflate it a little more as you use it because the material stretches. It's easy when all you have to do is turn a dial! The mattress is quite firm if you like it firm. Deflate it a little and it's much less firm. It's very comfortable to me and it's true to size--the one I have is a queen size. In my photos, the first image of the mattress itself is before I inflated it. Then, fully inflated with boyfriend for scale, and then I deflated it and took another photo. I was very surprised by this air mattress and I think anyone who hates the fuss of cheaply made air mattresses would be happy with this one. ... show more

  • Impressed
This is the first air mattress I’ve ever owned, and I’m genuinely impressed. It feels sturdy and well-made, with a soft, velvety surface that’s also waterproof. The built-in pump is easy to use and inflates the mattress in just a few minutes. It’s firm in a good way—supportive without feeling stiff—and the raised height makes it feel more like a real bed. It is on the heavier side, though that might feel even more noticeable right now since I’m dealing with a bad arm. Overall, a great option for a comfortable extra bed that’s simple to set up and store. ... show more

  • Not for people who cant sleep on firm surfaces
Inflated fast , held air for the most part. Easy to Inflated and deflate with built in pump. Only complaint was it was firm , like very firm. Its better than sleeping on the floor but wow it messed up my back.
