  • Nice Airbrush
This is my review of SprayMagic’s Airbrush with Compressor. The kit includes an airbrush with a detachable paint cup, plus a compressor that runs using a 120v AC to 12v DC transformer. In addition, you get several hoses, a set of cleaning tools, and a few other bits. The airbrush is of average quality, and by that, I mean it works well, and can be used by a beginner, as well as a person who uses one on a regular basis. It is easy to set up, and the compressor supplies air to the brush at a constant pressure. In terms of noise, I have heard quieter compressors; however, this one is just fine. The brush itself fits my hand comfortably, and the trigger that supplies paint and air pressure to the nozzle is solid and responsive. There are several factors involved in having a good experience with an airbrush, and one of those very important parts is something that does not come with this product… The paint. I have a lot of experience with airbrushes, and know the best way to mix my paints. I have used this brush to paint several objects for my dioramas, and just having fun, I spray painted a tiger’s face on my young nephew for a party he was attending. I was very happy with its performance. It never spitted or clogged, and is easy to clean. And it is super important to clean your airbrush after every use. It has a quick connect feature that allows you to quickly detach the brush from the compressor. Just make sure you turn off the compressor before removing the brush. Speaking of cleaning, it gives you all the items you need to keep your airbrush clean and functional. A complete airbrush set. ... show more

  • A clear fit!
This SprayMagic Airbrush Kit is way better than I expected! The ease of use really stood out, even for someone who doesn’t have much experience with this kind of gear. The build feels solid and the pieces click together in a way that makes you feel like you’re using something high end. Functionality-wise, it covers everything from model painting to cake designs and even nail art, so it’s super versatile. It runs quietly which is a huge plus if you're working indoors or in a small space. Totally worth the price, especially with how much you can do with it. The 50PSI compressor gives plenty of power and the spray speed is smooth and reliable. I’ve already recommended it to a few friends! ... show more

  • Good Kit for Starting Out
This is a nice airbrush for my uses and the kit offers a great value. I'm using this to spray on even thin coats of varnish and fixative over my pastels and paintings. It allows for a thin even coat and everything was easy to set up and use. If you have used an airbrush before this will all be familiar, even if you haven't used an airbrush it's easy to set up and use. The soda bottle pressure equalizer is genius and really does do a good job at keeping the pressure exactly where you need it. Some compressors give you uneven pressure which causes spits of paint. This keeps thing even and fine. The airbrush is nothing special but it does the job and feels pretty nice. It doesn't feel cheap despite it's price. Anyway, if you are looking for a nice even pressured compressor and airbrush, this is a good choice for a fully outfitted kit. It would make a great first air brush as a gift for a budding artist or model painter. ... show more

  • Big Value
I received this airbrush and opened it to discover it had been used before as shown in the pictures. However, a quick cleaning and reassembly took care of that which was fine since it gave me more of an opportunity to really know the brush. This thing is very well built an comes with an impressive amount of extras. The included air tank (bottle) cap worked much better than I had expected it to. This airbrush is well balance in the hand and the dual action trigger is responsive on both the paint and air axis. This was easy to setup and with the smaller compressor takes up less area. Paint flows smooth and evenly. I really like this airbrush and it holds strong against some of my more expensive brushes making it a tremendous value. ... show more

  • Versatile for different projects.
This kit includes a quiet air compressor with adjustable pressure up to 50 PSI, so you can have control of the spray intensity. It's nice that it has a dual-action airbrush gun for spray adjustments from fine to wide. You can use it for hobbyist painting of small items, cake decorating, and even airbrushing cosmetics, which is why I wanted to try this one. My granddaughter likes airbrush cosmetics, and we also do some hobby craft painting, so this has been perfect. The airbrush has a good ergonomic design and feels comfortable in the hand. This kit has pretty much everything you need to get started. I think it's good for beginners and the more advanced hobbyist. It's versatile and durable, and provides a fun way to get creative for a lot of different projects. ... show more

  • Decent but has issues
I got this on Vine to try to get out against my other spray brush that I use and note that I am by far the most novice of spray paint users for these things. The set up was quite complicated and the fact that I needed a plastic soda bottle I thought was very strange. I did get it to run, but it seems to clog quite easily. I’m using the same paint as I use for my other spray brush that works just fine. As far as control it seems on par with what I already have. I do like the fact that it’s got a separate unit for compressing air because my other one is battery operated with rechargeable batteries. The fact that it was clogging and kept spurting, I didn’t like. This one it was a little bit cheaper than my portable one however. I would say given the price it would be worth a go, but make sure to use it within the return period. If you’re just starting out with airbrushing, then it might be worth it. ... show more
