Airbrush does not work at all. Didn't find out until return/refund window had past due to work schedule. Everything connects, and sounds like it was going to work. Finally got around to trying it out. Nothing. Thinned the paints like it says, no paint came out. Cleaned everything to ensure no clogs. Tried the same paint, still didn't work. Cleaned it again. Then tried with paint specifically made for air brushing, that also did not come out. Poor quality and not worth buying. Do yourself a favor and pay extra for a better airbrush and don't cheap out with this one.

This is a great little beginner airbrush. It is single action which means the air is not controllable at the nozzle but for a beginner this isn't terrible. I use air brushes mainly for stencil work. Sometimes I work in high traffic areas where a corded brush is dangerous. Being on a ladder in a high traffic area is dangerous enough without having to deal with cords. Cordless is a perfect solution for me. If I use the compressor attached directly to the spray gun it is a little awkward for me to hold and control. Fortunately, this unit also comes with a hose which allows me to hold just the gun. This is more what I am used to and what is most comfortable for me. Contrary to the description, the hose is not braided. It is simply a poly hose. While I would prefer description accuracy, I've been using poly hoses for years without issue. Braided is nicer, but a simple poly hose is durable and works well. I like that it comes with three different sized paint cups. This saves you from a tendency to fill a cup more than you actually need. I like that the instruction manual has a troubleshooting page that walks you through the basic spray pattern problems. When you are just starting with a spray gun, it is important to know why you get a bad spray pattern and what to do about it. Having three pressures is a nice feature but I found the button to be easily accidentally pressed. I wish it took more finger pressure to change the psi selection. The battery is small and requires a recharge too often when spraying multiple large stencils. This unit would benefit from a battery with longer life between charges. I have the black version, so I don't have a display telling me the battery life and pressure. I'm fine with this as you can simply listen to the motor to tell you what your psi setting is and if the battery is about to run out of charge. Overall, this is a very good little beginner unit. It does best on smaller projects as the battery life isn't enough for larger projects. It does not have the same control level as a dual action sprayer but in the hands of a beginner this is a great product.

I have been using this to help with paining Warhammer 40k miniatures. It definitely works for that but after just about a week it stopped working. I cleaned it following the instructions between uses and as far as I can tell some water got in the compressor and then it started acting funny. Turning on by itself or not turning on at all. It still works but I do not expect it is long for this world.
