And the top is fabric so it kinda acts as a barrier for the cold but still put a topper on it because it’s not padded fabric it’s thin. And you’re good to go. I have my own room due to my husband snoring and my pTSD from a work experience that causes me to not sleep well or for long. I also have to get up early for 10 hr work day.My son came home to visit so I brought this air mattress an put him up in the Sewing room down the hall But due to no air conditioner and tv I decided to gave him my room. As expected my husband snoring was too much and I ended up sleeping on the air mattress.I had the best night’s sleep. it did deflate a little bit for the first two nights then after that, it stayed inflated. I must not have shut the valve off all the way. I put a mattress padding on it and I did buy a throw a heating blanket because it is an air mattress and it does tend to get a little cold for me and my hips ache Needless to say my son went back and I’m still sleeping on the air mattress. My hips don’t ache and I’m very well rested plus I’m going back to sleep faster

I’m a plus size woman over 300lbs and this mattress is comfortable. It deflates a little over night which is to be expected but you’re not on the floor. Just a little sag. No back pain or issues. I use several times so far and left it with my daughter when she was staying with my brother and she used it for 5 weeks everyday no issues. Good quality.

I’ve now ordered three of these. Learn the lesson I didn’t, don’t go by the good reviews! My niece is over a lot so we need an extra mattress and it stays up even when not in use. First one lasted about four months before it developed an unseen leak and wouldn’t hold any air, I gave the company the benefit of it probably being a manufacturer error and got a second. That one was moldy upon just opening the box - the top was black with spores that I didn’t even want to unfold it all the way 🤮 It was an easy return and because it looked like the box was probably damaged in shipping I thought it was just bad luck. With so many great reviews I wanted to try it again, hoping to get one we could keep. My partner then ordered the third for us while we had to wait for the return of the second. That was barely over a month ago and this one now has an actual hole in the seam. After finding it in the morning we followed all the directions, used the provided patches and then waited until 12 hours later for bedtime before using it again. Within 20 mins it was already soft and deflating. Super disappointing because now we’re left with no options and can’t afford another. I hate leaving bad reviews but this had to be shared.

The whole process of unboxing, inflating, stretching, deflating and rebagging was a breeze. Directions are precise and so easy to follow. I did inflate 3 days before my company arrived in order to air out ( a sorta plasticy smell) and do it's stretching. Making up the bed would have been easier if I had waited for my hubs to get home, but I was anxious to get it done. So comfortable and did not loose any air after the 3rd day. I kept it inflated for almost a week just to see how it stayed firm. I highly recommend this great air mattress

We got this to allow us to use our library room as a guest bedroom. Basically, we wanted a bed when we needed it without committing the space for a bed permanently. The mattress was comfortable (admittedly we added an extra layer of padding for airflow), and stayed inflated for two weeks. This was a good solution
