Overall install took me about 4 hours. Important to note that you should remove the rear coil springs for easiest access, and you must cut off the rear bump stop then grind down any sharp edges from the old bracket. The install itself really wasn’t difficult but meticulous trying to get some bolts in tight locations. Instructions are well detailed and easy to follow, along with recommended torque specifications. The air line came with plenty of slack to run two individual hoses to the rear bumper and was very easy to connect. I’m happy with the quality. ... show more

I bought these to eliminate the squat on my RAM when hauling heavy loads and it's made all the difference. I planned to put these on myself, but there was some fabricating involved and to not forfeit my warranty on the truck, I had outsourced someone to put them on. They work great, just add a little air when getting ready to haul something and your truck is perfectly level with no bounce and/or shifting side to side while driving down the road.     • OUTSTANDING!
Well the last 2 days were a true test to the load ability of these airbags. I gotta tell ya. VERY IMPRESSIVE! I have a 2021 RAM 1500 Quad Cab Hemi with the 3.92 rear differential. Towing capacity 12,750lbs all day.. but the the independent suspension lacked with a tongue load never mind the payload. The last 2 days I had no issues towing a Bobcat T76 track loader weighing in at 10,250 lbs on a 14 ft dump trailer at just over 5k lbs.. that's 15k lbs.. Most definitely over weight for my truck.. However, the work must be done. Thanks to Airlift they made it possible to tow with ease, confidence, and most of all safety! The one caveat, Installation was a stressful, knuckle breaking, time consuming pain! Says 2 hours??? not so much... almost 6 hours (I'm not a professional mechanic ,but very mechanically skilled) Due to lack of space and reach of nuts and bolts to secure it to the truck.. Maybe it's just the 2021 RAM design but it wasn't easy.. None the less., Highly recommended! Next step is purchasing the Airlift wireless one onboard compressor. Thank you Airlift! ... show more

    • Good product for my 2019 ram 1500
This review is first impressions only as i have just installed it and have not pulled a load yet. I would of give the item 5 stars but it was missing a tool in the box and one wrong size bolt. It was suppose to come with two tools for installing bolts into the frame( a wire with a spring on the end) but it only had one in the box. Also the bolt for installing the brake line spacer was far to big of a diameter to fit my 2019 ram. If you buy this kit you will likely need to run to a hardware store to get a bolt that will fit. When spending $370 plus tax one would expect everything to be correct. That being said it seems and feels like a heavy duty air suspension and from everything I have read i think it will work great. If you do not have: Lots of mechanical knowledge Atleast 4 jack stands and a good jack Lots of time 4-6 hours Do not install this kit yourself...... It's a dangerous operation make sure you have good jackstands. If you are not good with really tight spaces Do not install this kit yourself. Tip- the jounce brackets are a pain to get rid of. The directions tell you to make a horizontal cut then beat the bracket off with a hammer. But beware that the bracket will still be held on by a pretty hefty weld bead. Take the time to cut through the bead with a dremel. It will make hammering the jounce bracket off much easier. This kit does not have the cheap U bolts that people complain about that other kits have. It bolts strait to the axle via a plate that Ram has conveniently placed. ... show more

Top quality materials, very clear diagrams, fairly easy to fit. The only small complaint I have is that, surely it wouldn't have been that difficult to make an adapter plate that allowed retention of the bump stop plate, rather than having to grind it off?

    • Great airlift system
All installation parts were included and I added the onboard compressor makes it easy to adjust he airbags at any time. They were time consuming to install roughly 8 hours as the factory bump stop mounts had to be cut out and then that area was repainted and finally the bags were installed. The bluetooth compressor system works well with the only issue being that after downloading the app to my phone I could not pair it while the provided remote was active. After getting the phone paired the system is great as I can add and remove air when I hitch and unhitch our RV. ... show more
