AIR LIFT 1000 Series Air Suspension Kits are designed to work with speifici coil-spring vehicles. This kit eliminates sag and features 1000 pounds of leveling capacity. It installs inside coil spring to eliminate bottoming out and is highly durable. Air Lift's 1000 Series Air Spring kit is the easy, inexpensive solution to vehicle "bottom out" events, sway and body roll and rough rides that are often the result of inadequate or uneven rear suspension. Consisting of two durable, easy to install and use pressurized cylinders, this kit provides up to 1,000 pounds of load leveling power, ensuing a safe, smooth and level ride when you need it. Inflate via easy access air line. Inflation can be done with any air compression tool capable of delivering the pressure, ranging from a dedicated onboard air compression system to portable air compression tools built into jump-start tools or even a hand pump. The cylinders are constructed of rugged, durable materials and feature high burst strength. Have peace of mind with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Air Lift Company warrants its Air Lift 1000 products to the original retail purchaser against manufacturing defects when used on catalog-listed applications on cars, vans, light trucks and motor homes under normal operating conditions for as long as Air Lift manufactures the product. The warranty does not apply to products that have been improperly applied, improperly installed, used in racing or off-road applications, used for commercial purposes, or which have not been maintained in accordance with installation instructions furnished with all products. 2008 jeep wrangler 2 door with 2 inch lift. This Jeep handled so poorly that you didn’t dare drive it on the freeway. I went to work on it and began to improve it one thing at a time. I finally figured out because I load it up pretty good to go out into the wilderness that the rear end was to heavy making it steer bad and wonder mainly on the freeway. I added 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers just on the rear. That made a huge difference. Finally the last thing I did was to add this Airlift 1000 kit. This was beyond amazing for making it ride better. It now goes straight down the freeway. It affected the freeway drive incredibly. It steers like it’s brand new. It takes the dirt roads way better. It took the sway out of it. I leave 35 lbs in the bags because I leave it loaded with gear. I would recommend these bags to anybody especially on a short 2 door Jeep. I can’t say enough good about these. ... show more

    • Up, up and away
So we just purchased our second RV (Passport 2650bh.) Whiling trying to get it home with our 2012 Jeep Call of Duty 6 speed manual we noticed we were slightly sagging in the rear and the jeep's shocks had no give at all making for a very bumpy ride. My hubby took his search to the internet to hopefully find an inexpensive solution to our problem and ended up on Amazon's site. He sent me the link to this product and told me to buy them (something I don't hear from him very often) He installed them himself one Saturday afternoon. Although my hubby is pretty handy, he said anyone could do this as a DIY project. He said the thing that took the longest was determining where the air pump line would run underneath to make sure it was not rubbing up against the exhaust pipes. He decided to drill through the rear driver's side fender to install the valve stem for the air hose. It looks like it came factory. He pumps it up with an electrical air pump and uses a simple tire gauge to assess the amt of pressure needed. He says the pressure is all the up @ 35 psi when in tow and 5 psi while day-to-day driving. Now about functionality... These Air Lifts really work. Before the lifts, I was getting car sick on the way from the RV dealership from all the bouncing that was going on. After the lifts, on our maiden voyage towing the RV we were up, up and away. We are sitting pretty, no more sagging in the rear and the shocks are working again to absorb the road bumps. For the cost, the outcome and ease of installation (according to my hubby) we are very happy with this purchase. Go RV'ing... Jeep life 4ever! ... show more

    • Great kit, not so easy to install!
Let me start off by saying this kit is meant for stock springs on your JK Jeep. Our Jeep has a 2.5 inch Rusty’s off-road kit and it was a huge pain to install! But that’s not airlift’s fault. The springs that came with the lift kit have coils that are much closer together so it was extremely difficult to get the bags inside them. I feel confident they won’t come out of the springs! Luckily they make a quality product as the bags are very sturdy and should handle some abuse. The lines were adequate to run from each side to its final destination inside of the Jeep’s license plate frame. Comes with everything needed to install but the clips that you used to attach once you get the hoses over the barbs are flimsy. Be careful not to bend them! ... show more

    • Works well. Easy to install
Easy to install. Complete kit, though i made my own air fill bracket for my JK . Helps out tremendously. Installed in a bit over an hour even fabbing a bumper bracket for air fill. Couple options for hose routing. Firmed up the rear with 10 lbs in bags. Reduced trailer squat filled to the full 35.

    • The air lift rear spring bags were very easy to install
The air lift rear spring bags were very easy to install. Routing the air hoses was easy, and I tee'd them off into one air hose. I routed the hose above the rear axle, and to the passenger side fender flare. I drilled a hole to match the air fitting, and it fit very nice. It is easy to air up the bags, or let air out of the bags. With 30psi it raised the height of the jeep about 2 inches in the rear. It really helps a lot when pulling a trailer. When off roading I keep about 10lbs in and it rides very nice. I can add or let out air very easily. If I want the stock ride I just let all the air out. So far there are no issues at all. I really like the new air bags. It only took me about an hour and a half to do the full install. And, I'm not a mechanic, just an everyday jo. ... show more

    • Jeep Wrangler JKU Rubicon, helped with ride and towing
My Jeep dealer tech recommended these to me. Significant improvement in both towing and rough road handling. Better ride on washboard dirt roads. Great customer service, fast warranty replacement when one air bag developed a leak after a year. Would be better kit with a brass T fitting instead of the nylon T fitting included; hard to press plastic airline onto the nylon plus a little flimsy. I bought a 3/16” brass T from Amazon. Screw compression fittings would be even better, but would probably kick price up. Easy to pump up with small bicycle pump. You don’t need a compressor. ... show more

    • Firmed up my sagging Jeep rear
I have had these air bags before on my Suburban, and found them very useful for over 10 years. Lately, I am finding myself towing many things on a trailer for my kids using my Jeep Wrangler. Oak tree pieces are heavy! Anyway, these bags installed pretty easily, and the components are all good quality. The instructions were specific to the Jeep, but they could be a bit more detailed with hose routing suggestions and heat shield placement. I also have a third row installed in my Jeep JKU, so it can get a bit heavy in the back with just 6 passengers, so this will help with that sag too. This kit is the best thing I have found for firming and raising up the rear of the jeep for a more controlled feeling while towing. ... show more

It was easy to install. The hardest part was mounting the air valve in a real good place. Only ran about 7 lbs of air could have ran about 9-12 lbs but wanted the bags to help the suspension not be the suspension.
