I bought 2 of these and 2 of another brand besides a playdoh air dry tub. The packs were smaller than we needed for our classes...So, I gave at least 2 for each student...However I liked the product a lot better than playdoh's air dry which was not fun (so sticky...stuck to carpert in classrom and more..eek). This was a great... It was a good consistency, easy for students to work with, and dried at a good speed. Great modeling clay. Just would need more for my classes. ... show more

The texture of this clay surprised me! At first, it seems like it’s going to be really sticky and hard to get out of the packages, it’s not though. It kind of reminds me of a slime because, though it’s similar to Model Magic clay, it feels more wet. The dry time was around 24 hours. It starts to dry up within the first couple hours, but it remains soft and wet to the touch for about 24 hours total. After that, it’s solid, but still squishy, again, this is a very soft clay. My child tried making a basket ball hoop figure, and struggled a little bit with that because it is so soft, it wouldn’t stand up straight. We ended up putting a paper clip inside to hold it up. Lots of colors to choose from! A stack of little zip lock bags is included for clay that you want to save after opening for future use. The consistency is far different than the clay I’m used to working with (mostly polymer clays). Which is a good thing because the polymer can be frustrating for my young child to work with, being that it’s a lot tougher. Moral of the story - different clays are good for different projects. If you’re looking for a carefree clay project, that most all ages can enjoy, where the end result isn’t as important as the act of creating..this is the perfect choice! You can easily make jewelry trays, shapes, balls, snakes, etc with this clay! ... show more

This was a birthday present for my daughter and she absolutely loves it and has made several things from it. My other daughter has requested it for her birthday too. It’s a soft texture as it dries. The black clay is a little too sticky to use but all of the other colors are great.
