Bought this 2-pack of AINOPE USB-C cables mainly for my phone and tablet and they’ve worked really well so far. The right angle plug is super useful, especially in the car or when using the phone while charging. They charge quickly and feel sturdy thanks to the braided design. Just a couple things to keep in mind. Data transfer speed is USB 2.0, so it’s not the fastest for big file transfers. Also, the cables are a bit stiff but that’s probably due to the tough material. Overall, really good value for the price if you need reliable charging cables and aren’t worried about high speed data transfer. And you get two, which is always nice. ... show more

Late at night I have a tendency to read ebooks and stream on my phone while charging that results in the USB-C connection side of the cable becoming frayed and unusable due to the constant bending. It was only a matter of time before the duct tape would stop working and it did. My priorities were rather basic: (1) usb-c to usb cable, (2) high capacity would be nice, and (3) greater than 3 feet. While there is a plethora of choices available when it comes to usb-c charging cables, the one feature that set the Ainope apart from the others was the “angled” or rather horizontal connection and ‘fast charging’. I know images can be deceiving, but this cable appeared thicker & more durable than the local box store generic 3-pack cloth woven and it did not disappoint. The Ainope cable has delivered as advertised and I’m totally happy. Check it out: Price: An exceptional value for a quality pair of two (2) high capacity ‘angled’ shaped’ cables for under $10. Design: One of the cables I actually measured and it’s a true length of ‘78 inches (6’6”) while the other remains as a backup. The cables are wrapped in a double braided nylon jacket which feels almost metal like. The material/alloy is definitely not like the thin “cloth” woven type you usually find locally. These are fast charging, so they are solidly constructed and of better quality to handle the thicker wires and insulation for data. In other words, they’re not as flexible as a headphone cable but flexible much like the cloth woven type but a tad stiffer. I also love the angled/horizontal shaped design that is much needed for us readers and streamers It can also be inserted facing left or right depending on your phone configuration. Both ends of the cable are reinforced for extra durability and a nice touch is each cable comes with its own branded cable tie! Performance: The real test for me was inserting the cable to work on my Samsung Note with an Otterbox defender case. This type of case has given me issues in the past because of its thickness, the edges around the headphone & charging ports can be difficult for some cables to fit all the way in. The actual USB-C port is so protected and recessed, that the molded shielding of the cable is just too thick for the narrow opening to allow the metal plug end to fit all the way in. This angled shaped USB-C has (a) solved the problem and (b) has no problem accessing the port. I didn’t have to jiggle or hard press or tamper with the case to make the connection. It was perfect!!! Once connected to the phone and the regular USB into the 9V/3.1A Samsung AC adapter, it was recognized and started fast charging. I’ve since used the cable to connect to both computer and external drive for backups and file transfers without issue and delays. The phone also does not ‘heat up’ or feel warm during the process. They say the cable fast charges & delivers a data transfer speed of up to 480Mbps, I’ll trust the numbers on it. It is fast. Overall: This is an exceptional deal for a 2-pack of well constructed fast charging cables at 6’6” that also works with an Otterbox defender case!!! As for durability, it’s a little too soon to tell. Personally, I’m betting on a few years. As for price, it’s a great value for the quality and quantity that you get. In the long run, it might actually extend the longevity and performance of your battery life. -By the way, you’ll also like the care of the teal & white product packet (vs the typical poly plastic packs) that the cables were packaged in. 5-Stars!!!!! ... show more

I bought this because my old charger broke suddenly, but this??? IT'S GREAT. It charges fast. I'm able to sit my phone up while it charges. It's durable. It's a long length too, it even comes with a velcro strap so you can wrap the charger if the length is too much of a hassle. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. These are great cables. They come in three or four sizes (I think three — two are a duplicate size) and the USB connectors being positioned to the side instead of straight on is why I bought these.
