5/5 stars for the Ailun Privacy Screen Protectors for the iPhone 17e / iPhone 16e. I have been using Ailun screen protectors for years across different phones and they have always worked great for me. I honestly cannot complain considering the price and value you get in the pack. One of the biggest pros is the privacy feature itself. It works well and makes it much harder for people around you to see what is on your screen from side angles while still keeping the display clear when looking directly at it. The glass also feels durable and protective. I have not had a cracked phone screen while using these protectors which gives me a lot of confidence in them for everyday use. Another big plus is that they come in a multipack with a little dust remover sticker and wipes to clean your screen before install which is always nice in case you mess up an install or eventually need to replace one later on. The installation process was also fairly straightforward and the protector fit my iPhone 16e exactly as advertised without any weird gaps, alignment issues, and stayed bubble free. The screen protector itself feels smooth to use and does not make the phone feel cheap or overly bulky. Touch responsiveness has also been perfectly fine from my experience. As for cons, I honestly do not have any major complaints so far. For the price these are hard to beat and they do exactly what they are supposed to do. Overall I think these are a great option for anyone wanting affordable privacy screen protectors that still feel durable and reliable. Hairline crack upon install so I’m assuming they’re not as sturdy as other screen protectors I’ve used. I liked the tools to install- otherwise the screen is awesome for desired privacy. Value for price, fit, and adhesion - great!

I love this privacy screen protector and honestly wish I bought it sooner! The way it works is that when you’re looking at your phone straight on, the screen looks completely normal and easy to see. However, if someone is sitting next to you and tries to glance over at your screen, they won’t be able to see what you’re viewing. It’s such a nice added layer of privacy, especially when you’re in public places. I’ve always used glass screen protectors to protect my phone from scratches and cracks, so I love that this gives me the same protection while also adding a privacy feature. I also appreciate that it comes in a 3-pack. Accidents happen, and it’s nice knowing you have backups available if you drop your phone or need to replace the protector. Okay I have purchased A LOT of screen protectors off amazon, mainly sorting by price and rating to find something reasonable. And I mean like 6 different brands. But I have to say these are the best ones I have purchased so far. I’ve had it one for two weeks and not a single crack (near the edges is usually where they appear first because I don’t use a phone case on my iPhone) has appeared. Usually, I find cracks within the first week, either from dropping or bumping my phone against other things in my purse or backpack. The privacy screen is good, I mainly got it because I’m in class often and don’t want other people in my business. Another thing that’s really nice is that this screen doesn’t smudge or store a lot of excess oil like other brands. As for install, I applied in the car as a passenger and there are no bubbles, so yes, it’s easy to install and the instructions are easy. Love this screen protector! This was one of the easiest screen protectors I’ve applied. It comes with a guide that made placement on the phone very easy. The screen gives good privacy, works well with the iPhone screen, and after a few weeks of being on the phone it’s seems durable.

    • Used to be better?

Used to be better I know i’ve bought these (same brand and qty (?) though i remember there being 3 per pack but maybe that was another brand, Amazon does tell me this is my second time buying this exact item…) screen protectors before, most recently in February 2026, (now July) and the previous pack held up surprisingly well even though I am not especially gentle with my phone. This newer pack…I don’t know how to describe exactly why but it really feels like a step down in quality. I know, but for $8 what do you expect, right? Well I at least expected what I bought last time…. So install: the wet and dry wipes came in the same packaging, but they did a poor job removing smudges, and there was no polishing cloth included. That made installation harder than it needed to be, and I had to use my own cloth to get the screen properly clean. It did eventually install and adhere cleanly with only minor bubbles that went away after 24 hours. Looks good when new. Fits my iPhone. But with this most recent pack, I have dropped my phone twice after installing the first protector. I understand that dropping it was my fault, but the protector cracked the very first time, immediately in two separate spots. Because of that, I already had to use the second protector in the package after less than two weeks. The ones I bought previously seemed…. noticeably more durable. Also, it may be of note to some that with polarized sunglasses, the privacy protector variety creates a very dark green tint across the screen. I do not remember that happening with the previous version, and it makes the phone harder to use outdoors. They still provide basic protection and privacy but the durability, installation materials, and visibility with polarized sunglasses all seem worse than before. Three stars because they work, but the quality does appear to have declined. Will get another pack in a few weeks to see if it’s a fluke and update if relevant. ... show more
