    • Decent Privacy Screen with some downfalls
Bought these to stop being paranoid while using my phone in public settings. The protector slightly dims the screen when viewed head on, but that’s to be expected. It only has privacy technology when viewed from left or right, not up or down. I’m dissatisfied with the range of privacy since I expected it to darken and conceal at a sooner angle than it actually does. If someone is directly next to you, they can still see your screen, it just looks a bit darker and they might not be able to make out any letters. If someone is beside you and a bit further away, then this screen does black out completely which is great. Again, I had higher expectations since this is my first privacy screen protector and I thought the screen would be dark unless you were directly in front of the phone which isn’t the case. My biggest downfall is that it reduces the sensitivity of your phone screen. So I’m having to tap harder in order for my touch to be recognized. This protector also smudges like no one’s business. You can’t see the smudges while you’re using your phone directly, but they become visible when your screen is off or you tilt your phone to view the dark privacy protection working. Also, the edges of the screen protector collect a lot of dust/fuzz. Installation was also troublesome for me. I ended up needing to use both protectors since the first one became too dirty to use. It took me close to an hour to get the second one on since dust particles kept getting stuck to the sticky side and the protector leaves a bubble around them. I was applying them while in a clean room and I used all the stickers and wipes provided to clean everything, but it was no use. I’ve never struggled to apply tempered glass protectors before so it was a bit frustrating.     • Read before you buy.
THIS IS MY FULL HONEST REVIEW IT IS KINDA LONG BUT WORTH THE READ. Im using this product, The Privacy screen, for my Iphone 11 Pro Max. The screen was extremely easy to install came in excellent condition. The touch screen is pretty good. I quite possibly may end up missing a letter or two if I don’t press hard enough. Normally without the screen protector this wouldn’t be a problem. I type very quickly on my iphone so that means very light and quick touches so this sometimes gets annoying. It all depends on the person. My main concern is the actual PRIVACY functionality when it comes to this product. I’m going to provide examples that would be useful if I were the one reading this review. Right after installation, if you were to have your phone on a flat surface like a desk and had your co worker peeking over to look at your phone they would not be able to see what is on your phone. A person sitting directly to the left or right (same sides as the volume/power buttons) of you would only be able to see a dimmed version of your phone, as if you just turned the brightness all the way down. I used this on both the highest brightness setting and the lowest, lowest brightness allows for complete privacy, dark screen for the horizontal viewer phone appears off. Highest brightness allows for the phone to appear on the lowest brightness setting. It is hard for another person to see whats on your phone but it’s definitely still possible. If a person is sitting completely vertical (Across) from you (The opposite or same side as the charging port) They would be able to see the EXACT SAME thing you will be able to. This functions quite well for when you are sharing a video. If you turn off the screen lock, and use it in landscape mode (Turning your phone horizontal so the volume buttons point either upwards or downwards) allows for others to be able to view the video with you. I haven’t tried out any other Privacy screens so I cannot tell you if they function the same. From the time spent actually using this product you can see the thought process that went into developing this product. Allowing for user friendly functionality ease of use/installation and the ability to still share content that you actually want others to see. Definitely worth the buy since it comes in a two pack! (In terms of visibility when using a camera to try to see the screen it functions in the same ways. Not sure why I thought it would function differently but the thought popped into my head so I decided to try it out.) ... show more

Great for privacy but I feel like it’s less durable than their non-privacy one that I had before and the touch responsiveness isn’t as sensitive. It didn’t take long to get hairline cracks from minor drops (with a protective case). Still enjoy it though and that it’s a 2pk
