This is a good light set for replacement lights on your trailer if you need them. The reason why I can't say how they function is because I didn't get to use them because I just Them and realized that they did not fit. So I can't use them for my knees because they don't fit properly. I'm sure that if they do fit your vehicle, they will work very well.

I built a portable office on a trailer, and this was SUPER EASY to use! I was able to rewire the old trailer we rehabbed VERY easily! Every thing was nicely labeled and made sense, although I will say I youtubed a few videos before it came, so I knew what to expect, but it still went more smoothly than I had expected! I would absolutely recommend this set for others, it's a great deal and super easy to use!

NOT SUBMERSIBLE – Trailer Light Kit – RETURNED The reviews are all mixed up about different products because of the unfathomable illogical of the Amazon “product linking” protocol. So, you cannot trust the Star Rating Statistics because they ratings are all about different products. I am reviewing the falsely labeled “Submersible” complete trailer light kit. I gave it the lowest possible rating because the LED light fixtures ARE NOT sealed to be submersible like you need on a boat trailer that you will dip into the water. The wires are not sealed where they enter the case. One taillight had a drain hole slot but the other taillight, with the license plate light, did not have a drain hole slot. The marker lights and third brake light wires ARE NOT sealed. Water infiltration will quickly destroy these lights. Even if you do not use this trailer light kit on a boat trailer, that gets dipped in the water, you must seal the wires and supply your own mounting gaskets for the marker lights and third brake light.

With two boat trailers and a utility trailer, there's always at least one that needs some wiring/lighting work. This Alla Complete LED light kit truly has all the components I'll need to replace a few lights or even to rewire an entire trailer. That said, I do prefer to use waterproof wiring connectors, especially on boat trailers, so that's one bit of gear that I'll provide myself. I've gotten a similar set before, plus lesser sets and just individual lights, and the value here is truly a winner. The long red center light bar is bigger than my other one, but the other components are all very much like any other I've used before. The one thing I noticed on the main side brake/turn lights is that the plastic is embossed with the wire color and function. I seem to always be Googling which wire color does what, so that's a little bonus. The one confusing part -- and this is true for my old set as well -- on the rear center red light bar, there are three wires: white, red, and black. White is ground, red is bright, and black is dim. It would make sense for the black wire to be tied to the tail lights (brown wire), but what does the red wire connect to? You can't hook it to both the right and left turn signals, because then those turn signals would always come on together. Nothing in the instruction sheet says how it should be connected, only that it's needed for trailers 80" wide and over. Probably good enough just to have it as a center marker light, but having it brighten up when you hit the brakes would be really nice. If I get ambitious, I'll tie it to the right & left turn signals through diodes to keep those isolated from each other, but so that the center light will come on with either or both are energized. In summary, this is a nice kit with a full complement of essential lights for the small trailer and additional marker lights and reflectors for larger trailers. Happy to recommend.
