The last digital piano I owned (and still have, until I get rid of it) was from the 1990s. Bulky, cheap feeling, and with speakers that sounded like they were always underwater. Needless to say, my experience with digital pianos was overall negative, as the 90s technology was simply not that great. But boy have things improved. This bad boy is just awesome. First, it is wood. Does that give it some weight? Yes, but it feels sturdy and professional as a result. Second, the keys have a wonderful weight to them and the response feels very natural. This is the closest to the grand piano I have ever felt. Third, the speakers are GREAT. Like, if you can play without headphones you will really like the quality. Much better than expected. Finally, it is feature rich and comes with lots of little bonuses. For example, it comes with key stickers for beginners. Don't know what key C# is? Find a video and label it with these stickers. Much easier to learn this way. The piano also has a music stand (detachable, which I like), music clip (for those windy indoor days), and 3 pedal device that replicates a grand piano's pedals. You can also pair your phone/iPad with it for music editing, or connect wired headphones to keep the noise down (I have not found a way to listen wirelessly natively, but I have aux jacks to Bluetooth transmitters I can use). Overall, this is a great piano. It just feels professional and polished. It comes in at $280 (as of July 2026), so it is pricey. But I believe it is worth every dollar.

**Title: Fantastic Weighted Digital Piano – Feels Like the Real Thing** We recently upgraded to this AIJOY weighted digital piano, and the difference from their non-weighted model is immediately noticeable. The keys are heavier and softer, giving a more authentic piano feel that responds beautifully to touch. The weighted action adds some heft to the overall keyboard, but it’s a trade-off worth it for the realistic playing experience. The black keys are a slightly lighter plastic, but they still perform well, and the faux wood-grain finish feels dense and durable. The sound quality is impressive, and the piano comes loaded with features like drum kits, tempo settings, and other beginner-friendly tools. We enjoy connecting it to Ableton Note on our iPhone via MIDI USB, and the built-in Bluetooth speaker makes it easy to play along with compositions sent from a phone or tablet. The display is intuitive, and the recording function allows us to capture performances directly on the piano. Pedals and built-in sustain add another layer of realism, enhancing the overall playing experience. Design-wise, the angled legs aren’t our favorite, but they don’t affect performance. The piano requires no tuning and minimal upkeep, and the included velvet cover is functional if not luxurious. This model costs about a third more than AIJOY’s non-weighted keyboard, but the upgrade in key feel, sustain, and overall playability makes it worthwhile. I’ve been using this digital piano at home mainly for practice, and overall it has been a good experience so far. The setup was pretty simple and I was able to get it assembled without much trouble. The 88 key weighted feel is probably the most important part for me, and it does a decent job of simulating an acoustic piano. It’s not exactly the same, but it feels responsive enough for beginner and intermediate practice sessions. The sound options are varied and give enough flexibility for different styles of playing. I mostly stick with a standard piano tone, which sounds clear and balanced through the built-in speakers at moderate volume. The LCD display and controls are straightforward to use. Switching between settings and adjusting volume or tone doesn’t take much effort, which makes daily practice more convenient. Overall, this is a good entry level digital piano for home use. It feels solid, has useful features like USB MIDI support, and works well for anyone learning or practicing regularly without needing a full acoustic piano.

This digital piano has been a wonderful surprise. It's compact enough to fit comfortably in a smaller space, yet it feels like a much more capable instrument than its size suggests. The wood finish looks elegant and blends nicely with our home decor. My teen recently started learning music production and MIDI, so discovering that this piano supports USB-MIDI connectivity was a huge bonus. It connected easily and opened up a lot of possibilities for learning and creating music. The weighted keys feel great for a beginner instrument, and the built-in sounds and features provide plenty to explore. The triple pedal setup is also a nice touch that makes the experience feel more like a traditional piano. Overall, this has been a big hit in our house. It looks great, sounds good, and offers features that can grow with a beginner as they develop their skills.

We have a non-weighted piano we are able to compare this to, also made by AIJOY. The action on this keyboard is decidedly different and improved. The keys are soft and heavy, like a real piano. The weighted action does make the overall keyboard heavier. The sound is impressive and this one comes with a lot of features, like tempo kits and drum keys etc. good for a beginner. The black keys are pretty light and visibly a lower grade grained plastic, but they still play very well. The faux wood grain texture almost seems metallic, very dense and does not seem like it will chip, but no doubt the particle board is part of the weight. For us we are enjoying just playing a lot again and are also very active with Ableton Note on our iPhone. We can sample straight into the app from the piano using the midi USB that comes with it. It has a bluetooth speaker so if you have composed something and want to play along with it, you can by sending the file from your phone to the piano speaker. This one cost about 1/3 more than the basic non-weighted key piano, which we still love and is very easy to also connect to midi. The core difference is in the keys and sustain, which is either built in or you can use the pedals that come with it. You can also record straight into the piano electronics on the main dash. The display is easy to read and very intuitive. While we love the simpler model for someone learning and doing a lot with midi like us, this opens up exploration pretty quickly. We are not thrilled with the little angled legs from a design point of view, but that is just us. We have gone from no piano in many years to playing almost daily again. So very worth it to us. No tuning, minimal cleaning. It also comes with a velvetine cover, which is ok at best. They put the quality into the piano and that is what makes this midi-friendly board worthwhile. PS the bluetooth device you are looking for is GZUT-MUSIC.

This digital piano arrived quickly, was well packaged, and looks great once assembled. Assembly was straightforward, and I appreciated that Phillips bolts were used, which makes setup and future tightening much easier. The legs are metal with a smooth wood-look finish, giving the piano a very sturdy feel while maintaining a sleek, modern appearance. The keys feel very similar to an acoustic piano, and the sound is genuine and full. We currently own a player piano but are downsizing, and this has been a perfect alternative—providing a full keyboard experience while saving a significant amount of space. It includes a variety of extra functions that make it especially fun and engaging for kids, along with useful accessories such as a music holder, music clip, and pedals. The only thing I would love to see is a matching stool option, though the neutral color makes it easy to pair with seating you may already have. Given the overall build quality, realistic sound, included features, and space-saving design, the price feels very fair for what you’re getting. Overall, this is a great digital piano that comes very close to the real thing without taking up too much space.
