Description
Note: Reptile heating pads can be placed on the bottom or side of the glass tank, depending on your placement, and should only be placed on the outside of the glass tank. Read the instruction manual before use. Maintain ventilation and avoid localized overheating. For use on glass containers only. For use on glass surfaces only. Not recommended for use with plastic, acrylic, or water tanks. Do not completely cover the pad. Note: If you choose to place the heating pad on the bottom of the glass tank, be sure to slightly elevate the tank using the included rubber feet or other methods to prevent heat buildup.

Perfect for our baby Pixie frog 🐸

I have a pixie frog, and she buries herself in the dirt right up against the heating pad, she absolutely loves it. It keeps her healthy and in the right temperature. All I had to do was take it out of the box and plug it in. I put it on the bottom of her aquarium and it sticks nicely and hasn’t broke down on us yet🥳. Our Toni Soprano sitting in her aquarium being The Boss and loving the heat this heating pad puts out. You don’t even have to set the temperature🥳. Not a lot of packaging either. Great quality and worth every cent to keep our girl warm and cozy.

Works great for the price

It's doing a nice job keeping the tank at a mid 70's temp range.It does not have a thermostat setting but it's great for small tanks, especially for the price.The adhesive side is holding great.I can't really complain especially for the price.Great pickup for what we needed it for!

Not Best Option for my Hermit Crab Tank

I chose this for my hermit crab tank. I rarely feel heat come from it, and it will not heat up a 10 gall aquarium tank. I have it on the backside vs the bottom since the tank has several inches of sand so my hermit crabs can molt. I find that my crabs will hang out by the tank wall where the pad is in order to get what bit of heat they can get. I got this for my tank since it was a recommendation on a good way to heat the tank without using a light bulb. You can't control the heat, nor can you adjust the pad once you stick it to the tank. It sticks fairly well except for where the cord is, it wants to hang off a bit in that area. It's a nice pad, but not a good option for a hermit crab tank.

Easy to use. Safe. Doesn’t bake the whole aquarium.

We were using a heater at the top of our frog terrarium and I think it was just too much for him and the cage. This heater is perfect. He is able to go down toward it and enjoy heat, but moves up and away from it whenever he doesn’t want to be as warm. We placed it under the glass bottom, and below some live moss and his “hot tub”. He loves it.

This little warming pad is a great way to prepare my seedlings for germination. I adhered this pad to a ceramic tile (smooth side) and adhered some small rubber cabinet door bumpers on to raise off the floor. I placed my starter trays on top and voila.

Does not come with thermostat like advertised

I heats, but not enough through the glass. It also never came with a thermometer like it said it would. Won’t work for the baby hognose it was purchased for so I’m returning it. Might work for something that’s needs around 89-90f temps but not any higher.

Works great.

I got this to use for my tarantula since my room is always freezing cold. I put it on a wall outside of his enclosure and put one side of his enclosure near it but not right up against it and whenever he gets cold he’ll go hangout in that corner. I find it works pretty well. There’s no thermostat or any way to control the temperature so I made sure I bought a thermometer to put inside of the enclosure so I can monitor the heat and make sure it doesn’t get too hot and it works perfect for me. I would recommend it.
