I purchased the stainless steel version rather than the plastic version for longevity’s sake. There is no hinge like the plastic version but there is an o-ring around the cap to hold it in in place. Finally, a company that created a reusable k-style pod for the Ninja Dual Brew Coffeemakers CFP 201 & CFP 301. I purchased the stainless steel reusable pod, box of two. No more grounds spilling out of the regular disposable k-pods and we can finally use the coffee grounds of our choice. Easy to use.

I recently purchased this filter to use with my Ninja Dual brew coffee maker. I have been satisfied with it until today. I noticed the holes in the bottom filter. I’m using the second one I have to see if it happens again. It’s very convenient to use but these holes are a game changer. I will update this review after using the new filter. I tried both their plastic and stainless steel pods. Both work well for brewing but keeping their lids closed is hit or miss. The stainless steel pods don't have any kind of latch, they rely on the gasket arount the top lid to fit tightly enough into the bottom basket to hold the lid on. Well, it doesn't. The plastic ones do seem to latch better but even they can be tempermental about staying shut. I don't use the plastic ones that much any more since getting the stainless steel pods. I just wish they had a latching stainless steel version. ... show more

It’s a little difficult to empty the grounds after brewing, you really have to smack it or use something to loosen it enough to get them out, but that’s not really the products fault, just the nature of the item. Other than that, no issues.

The media could not be loaded. Other reviews said when they used this, it spattered all over. This is USER ERROR not because of the coffee ground pod. In my picture you still must use the coffee piece in the top left (where you'd normally put the coffee filter and grounds but obviously don't add the paper filter or grounds when using this). When failing to use the coffee filter piece, it will splatter but if using the piece, you'll never have splatter. Now I rated this 4 stars simply because I feel like it could do a better job of the top locking when closing the lid and I'm not sure how long this will last BUT it has given me no issues to date. I think you can get about 4-6 tspns of grounds in it. I use a bit larger coffee scoop so mine did about 2.5 but works great. No complaints and I'm using with the CFP451CO model which isn't specifically listed but works great. Good value for the price too compared to other similar products. Cleaning is easy as well. If in the market for this type of product, this will do just fine ... show more
