My review about what i like best is the quality..the first thing i noticed was the weight of each puck..You can tell they are very well made just by holding them and the cost is affordable..I can't comment on the functions of the remote as i didn't want to use the remote and just hard wired them directly to an outlet that has its own on and off switch..The directions were easy to follow along with and it offered different scenarios when installing them that someone might want to use so installing these lights was pretty simple and is explained well in the directions..I was replacing an old system of pucks that was installed many years ago so it was already mapped out on how i wanted this system set up..Another bonus i liked is these are LED lights..My old system were small bulbs that would get hot but with the LED's its not like that..It took me about an hour to get it how i wanted and working..I would suggest maybe getting some small clips to not only secure the wires but to hide them to the under side of what your system will set up like so they are not hanging down and exposed..When i turned them on after i installed the system i was pleasantly surprised with the brightness of the lights.. by-passing the remote i don't get the feature to dim them but that's ok with me..i wanted them bright and wouldn't use the remote features anyway but if i did i could easily patch it into the system after everything is installed just by plugging in the remotes function box in the kit they give you..you don't have to wire it in but just plug it in..simple as that..less that 30 seconds..Because i am not using the remote and i don't really know what it offers other than dimming it might serve you better to maybe look at others who reviewed who did use the remote to see if they are satisfied but with my setup i am happy them being bright all the time..This purchase was right on target for me..The quality for the money is there..no doubt about that ... show more

I was looking for an affordable direct wire led under cabinet light in an area that needed more focus. This set does just that with an elegant touch to give 50, 75 or 100 percent lighting that makes my shaker cabinets pop. This was very easy for DIY install that offered sticky or screw in mounting and available to expand the set if desired in the future. I hooked up an extendable dimmer switch in case the remote was lost or died. I had read on in Q&A that it was possible. It may be; however, the LED dimmer switch I ordered from Amazon seemed to interfere with these and caused them to blink incessantly with no way to stop it. It may have been the dimmer because it also didn't work with a different brand of puck lights either. I unhooked the dimmer and just hooked up a regular light switch and it works perfectly now!     • Real Aluminum Slim-Design Housing! Variable brightness!

Provided the exact lighting and options we were looking for at a great price point. Tried box-store LED bar lights - a no-go for placement, no brightness control, and too much wiring. Pros: 1. Slim design, easily hides under kitchen cabinet frame. Not visible, even for my 5'2" wife. 2. Very simple wiring. You do need to add a plug to the business end of the AC/DC converter. $1.49 at hardware store. 2 minutes of simple wiring and you are in business. 3. Based on how much linear distance you need to span, you may need to buy the 4-pack of extension wires. Glad I did. Even though the kit came with 2(?) extension wires, I needed one more. All small wire plugs are simple male/female - can't screw it up unless you break them to fit. 4. 25%, 50%, 100% brightness controls. I like strong task lighting (100%). My wife likes the sleek/elegant night lighting in the kitchen (25%). All controlled with a small remote. Remote = no fiddling with or hiding mechanical switches. They all sit on top of the cabinets out of sight. 5. They gang-connect. You only have to run the main power lead down gaps between cabinets to the first light in the series. They plug into each other after that. I still need to tack up the extra wiring under the cabinets - you may need some small cable-stays from the box store (inexpensive). Cons: I bought two sets of warm white 4x packs. My kitchen sink separates the two cabinet sets and did not want to run a wire across that opening. Each set comes with a wireless remote and a remote receiver built into the power side of the wiring. Directions are provided to sync both sets with one remote. Directions are clear, but I have not figured it out yet. As long as I turn them on in a way that both receivers "hear" the remote, both sets will react to one remote. If not, you may hit the power button, powering one set on, then powering it off and the other set on. Still figuring that part out. But not a problem that would knock off a star. Very happy with these, will update this review if anything changes. ... show more

I wired these lights up to try them the morning after I received them. No go! The power supply (transformer) was dead. I emailed Aiboo customer service as suggested by Amazon. The next morning I got a return email asking for some further info. After the second email, they informed me a replacement power supply was on the way and should arrive in a few days. Got the replacement hooked up and everything works great now. Very pleased with this lighting, it makes my remodeled kitchen look elegant when dimmed in the evening and at full power they’re bright enough to be helpful when doing food prep. ... show more

They installed great. Nice and simple. We were replacing some older cabinet lighting. They worked great at first but then we kept noticing that they would become really dim even though they were on the bright setting. Then a couple of days later or a couple of hours later they are back to working good. Then a few days later they will randomly go dull again. ... show more
