If you're expecting high fit and finish in a $65 helmet, you're not going to find it in any helmet in this price point. The helmet shell is of decent quality, the liner is okay, the clarity of both shields is good. There is more wind noise with the outer shield down than with it up. This is due to the sloppy way the gasket was installed. It is not glued in straight or evenly and there-for there are gaps at the top when the outer shield is closed. This allows the wind to blow through creating extra wind noise. The teeth that should hold the outer visor open are not big enough so the outer visor will close on you while riding, especially if you're in freeway traffic passing tractor trailers. I ride a sport tourer, so the bikes wind screen does a good job of directing the air over the rider. As such, during the day, I like to ride with the outer shield up. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to adjust the tension for the visor like there is on more expensive helmets. Again, this is a $65 helmet so you can't expect it to be perfect. My head at the widest point measures 23 1/4 inches. According to their chart I would use a large. Some of the reviews stated that the helmets run small so I took a chance and ordered an XL size. This size fits me perfectly. The design of the helmet makes it much easier to put my glasses on and take them off. The shield closes perfectly and viewing angle is really good. The quick release latch is very easy to use. The one feature of this helmet (B01MDLTDRQ) that I really love is the drop down sun shield. With the sun shield down I can still see the bike control panel and the screen on my GPS. With my snap on sun shield for my regular glasses I could not see either very well. When the sky gets dark I flip the shield up and it stays out of the way. The features and construction of this DOT approved helmet make it the best I have ever used. ... show more

Nice helmet. I purchased an XXL. I have other helmets same size but this one fits tight. I never have worn a full face always 3/4s. When it rains the 3/4 doesn’t protect my face n hard to see through glasses. Next time I’m in the rain I’m going to use the full face, this helmet. The size is XXL so maybe my head just got bigger. All in all this is a nice helmet. Good color and pin striping. I think this helmet is as good as more expensive helmets. I would recommend this helmet just maybe order 1 larger size than you need? I would but they don’t offer a XXXL. ... show more

Overall great appearance, function is good with drop down sun glasses (easy to move up/down), seems well vented and like the quick release chin strap. Appreciate the flip up face for drinking, eating, better vision when stopped, etc. Only complaint is the sizing. Using the suggested sizing chart I would have ordered a size Large. But followed other comment advise from other buyers of this helmet, and ordered one size larger (XL) which was still too small, especially around the face cheeks when fully closed. Returned the XL for an XXL which should do the trick. I do Winter riding and need some extra space for face/head covering under the helmet. The XL would never allow that. Now willing to try the helmet out and see how it holds up once the replacement XXL arrives. ... show more
