    • Great Charger and Usable Batteries
I'm using this with my GoPro Hero 3+. There's really not much to say about the batteries. The capacity rating is a bit iffy because overall, they perform mostly the same as the original GoPro batteries. However, since the GoPro eats through these like no tomorrow (I'd recommend the backpack style batteries such as the one from Wasabi power if you need extended batteries on the go), the more you have on hand, the better. The highlight of this package for me is definitely the charger. Not only does this work with GoPro 3 and 4 batteries, but also takes Micro and Mini-USB, making it very versatile; as much as I hate Micro-B, it is far easier to find than Mini-B connectors on USB cables. Batteries actually kind of 'snap' in rather than just wedge in, and I measured a total current draw of ~1.5A (or 0.5A per battery), making it comparable to GoPro's charger for individual charge performance. It also has green and red indicator lights for charge status. I wouldn't say this charger is the most compact, as there are dual battery chargers from Wasabi etc. that are absolutely tiny in comparison, but this is a much easier to use charger and simply more useful overall as being able to charge 3 batteries at once allows for continuous shooting without running out of power. Waited until I had some time (right at a month) actually using these before doing my review. Picked this up to replace my dying GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition's factory battery. Packaging was very minimal but everything arrived in working order. I ran my GoPro at 1080/30 and 2.7k/30 and battery life was identical between the two. I got 1h 29m on one battery and 1h 30m on the other. With bluetooth turned on battery life dropped to 1h 9m. For those that said it wouldn't charge a GoPro factory battery along with the Newmowa batteries, try just leaving them plugged in overnight and come back to them. I've noticed when you plug in one or the other when the opposite is already on the charger the lights will show a fully charged one as not charged sometimes. However, it will charge them as shown in my pic where you can see two Newmowa batteries along with my factory GoPro battery showing fully charged. Overall, I really like the charger but I do wish the battery life was better. I was really hoping for a full two hours on each but for the price it's still hard to beat. ... show more

    • Great little charger for use on my motorcycle.
Charges quick. I usually kept two batteries in it, but it would charge one in the time it took for my Gopro to drain the one in it while doing stop motion photos (1 photo every 2 seconds). Only weird thing is that it didn't like charging batteries of different manufacturers at the same time. Two Gopro, two Wasabi, two Newmowa, no problem. But put a two of one type in and a 3rd from the other set and the odd battery wouldn't charge. The ports were fine, could move pairs of batteries into any charging bay. And it wasn't just at 2 and 1. One and one of any mix would do the same. One charge, one wouldn't. Weird but not really a big deal, just use the same batteries across the board. ... show more

Unit will charge 4 batteries at once. Two batteries came with charger. They are correct voltage and have slightly HIGHER capacity than my original GoPro battery. So far, this is a winner. The charger will present a “charged” indicator light if you try charging a “charged” battery after just a couple minutes of being in the charger. Pros: -Fit my GoPro battery plus the 2 included. -Charged all 3 batteries fairly quickly. -Indicator lights on each battery to show when fully charged. -All pieces come apart for easy packing and/or travel. Cons: -Wire to charging block is not attached, and is easily lost (speaking from experience). Needed an extra couple batteries for the GoPro and a separate charger. This fit and has worked for me. I have had it going on a little over 6 months now and it hasn't messed up yet. The batteries will hold a charge if not used and I haven't experienced any negative effects such as a defective battery or anything from it yet. Of course the original equipment battery will have better life than these but not by to much so it was worth the investment. ... show more

    • I use these to lifelog every day and it has worked perfectly. I own 4 other batteries and this is my go to.
Pros: accepts both mini USB and micro USB indicator lights are right next to the batteries AND ARE OFF AS DEFAULT, instead of falsely leading me to believe that an unseated battery is charging actually fits the battery size well (Wasabi power requires some serious two hand struggle to get the gopro seated and unseated properly) Cons: weird name? (if that's all I can come up with, it's pretty good.) I have had over 12 of these 4 died and 2 were replaced after paying shipping of like$6 ... show more

My GoPro batteries were starting to not last very long so I picked this up. I love being able to charge 3 batteries at once. I don't really think it does do them all at once but who cares you just put them in and walk away. The size is much better than the one I had been using that had to plug into the wall. This one you can use just about any USB charger on it. I haven't measured the current draw from different wall chargers but when I do I'll update. ... show more
