Description

The K6 S is a feature-rich featherweight helmet that packs a punch! Designed with technologies developed for professional MotoGP riders yet suitable for sport, touring and commuting riders alike. The carbon aramid fiber shell is lightweight and its shape was designed to reduce turbulence and optimized for all riding positions. The eyeport has expansive field of view and the included anti-scratch face shield comes equipped with Max Vision Pinlock lens, so you can see every turn ahead. Inside the K6 S is a plush interior that is soft, moisture wicking, designed for easy entry/exit and shaped to ensure stability at high speed. Not only is the K6 S DOT and ECE 22.06 certified, it features emergency release cheek pads and a collarbone safe profile amongst a host of other details included to keep you protected. Whether you're tearing up the twisties, long haul trekking or making your way to work the K6 S will keep you protected and wrapped in premium comfort along the way. DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified

I was wearing a helmet that weighed appx. 4.25 pounds. The avg k6s was advertised as weighing appx 3 lbs in the size I ordered. I bought the avg because I have problems with my neck due to injuries and a fusion surgery and the difference in weight has made a big difference. I’m 65 and I’ve worn helmets since I was a kid, from sport to military models, and the avg comes closest to a custom fit. It has a very nice finish, is well ventilated, and comfortable. Maybe not as quiet as I’d like but certainly not a deal breaker. The avg is one of the few expensive items I’ve recently bought that does not leave me feeling “ripped off”. ... show more

Fist time I get a full face helmet, this thing is really quiet, noise isolation is at another level. Cannot compare with others helmet because I haven't tried them, but in my opinion this is a great option. I feel more secure and confident now. Great helmet, very lightweight. I used for an 4 hour ride, round trip with a majority being on the highway and it was amazing with no fatigue. Wind noise was a little loud at times but not bad. I use a cardo edge system with it and it worked and fit perfectly. Would buy again in future.
