  • Compact Smartphone That Fits Easily in My Hand
I ordered this phone because I wanted something compact and lightweight instead of carrying a large smartphone everywhere. The 4.96-inch size is comfortable to hold, and I can easily use it with one hand without feeling like I’m handling a tablet. The phone feels responsive for everyday tasks, and the combination of 6GB RAM and Android 16 Go makes browsing and switching between basic apps feel reasonably smooth. I also like the T-Mobile compatibility, but I made sure to check the carrier requirements before using it. The dual-SIM 4G capability adds useful flexibility. The overall build quality feels solid, and the phone has a sturdy, practical feel despite its smaller size. The 32GB storage is useful for basic apps, photos, and files, while the option to expand storage up to 256GB is a big plus. I also appreciate the 3.5mm headphone jack and removable 3000mAh battery, which are features I don’t see as often on newer compact phones. Overall, the small size makes it convenient for travel and everyday errands without sacrificing the features I actually use. For the solid quality, compact design, responsive performance, T-Mobile compatibility, expandable storage, dual-SIM capability, and practical features, I think it offers good value for the money. ... show more

  • My 8th grader is happy now!
I bought this phone for my daughter. It's very lightweight and it is an android/google phone. So I can use Google Family Link to monitor my child's activity on the phone. I can see her location. I can set limits on how long she can use apps and which apps she can use. I didn't know that you could do that until recently. Otherwise I would have gotten one similar to this much sooner. She was frustrated that she had the other Agm phone that she said looked like an "old 90's Nokia brick." This phone allows me to monitor how much she's using it so that she can learn to prioritize and not have too much screen time, but she also said she feels normal now and doesn't feel embarrassed to have a modern looking phone. This phone has a nice screen. It's affordable. It's easy to use and set up and it works with my phone carrier. We are happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • You Had Me At "Replaceable Battery"
I really wasn't expecting much from this little phone. I figured I would use it for GPS, camera, bluetooth, things that don't require a mobile plan. I have a Samsung phone through T-Mobile, but it has a battery that can't be changed out by me. Sure, it charges super fast, but it also depletes super fast. I'm sure there is some gadget that came with the phone to enable me to remove the SIM card, but that has been long lost. When I opened the box, I fell in love. It's light and small, fits in the palm of my hand. If you're not tech savvy (I'm not), set up was a breeze. I turned it on and it automatically hooked up to my house internet. From there it gives you prompts to continue set up. It even asked me if I wanted to copy files and apps from my Samsung. That set up was simple, take my Samsung charging cable, plug one end into the Samsung, the other end into this phone and a list comes up of all the folders on my phone. I unselected the ones I didn't want to transfer and within 4 minutes, the new phone had everything I wanted copied from the Samsung. I make and receive more text messages than I do phone calls and they work just fine without the SIM. Years ago when I was in sales, I had a dual SIM phone, more than twice the size of this one. I've also noticed T-Mobile seems to offer better plans when more than one line is activated. I'll look into that further. Bottom line, if you have an elderly relative who still uses a flip phone because they don't think they can figure out a smart phone, this is for them. I'm in love with the size and instead of using it occassionally, I may pay a visit to T-Mobile to remove that SIM card and use it everyday. ... show more

  • Runs surprisingly well for the specs, Android Go is full featured
This phone actually ran a lot better than I was expecting and I think it makes for a good backup or beater phone. It’s made entirely from plastic, although the front is glass over the screen. It only has one camera; the other two are fake and for decoration, but it does look cool, so that’s something. Build quality is about par for the price but it does feel pretty good in the hand, mainly because of the size which is a refreshing change from the huge phones that are the norm these days. It comes with both a screen protector installed and a clear TPU case, which is a nice bonus as it’d probably be pretty difficult to locate a case for the phone. Overall, I think the build quality is more than acceptable but it’s worth mentioning that removing the battery cover always feel like it’s going to snap and break and it’s a more difficult process than it should be. The screen is about average for a budget phone, I think the colors look pleasant enough but it isn’t particularly sharp due to the low resolution and the viewing angles also aren’t great, but looking at it head on, it’s quite acceptable. Android 16 Go seems nearly the same as the normal version of Android, I didn’t run into not being able to install an app I wanted or encounter any other issues. It does run well for having a very old processor and only 3GB of RAM though. It’s not snappy or fast, but moves along well enough and importantly, doesn’t really stutter or lag. It’s a lot more responsive than I was expecting from the low specs. The single top-mounted speaker isn’t really worth mentioning, it can play fairly loud. Same goes for the camera, it takes pictures. It’s not audio you’d want to listen to for very long or pictures that will win awards, but they accomplish their basic functions and are about on par with other offerings in this price range. Overall, I’d say it’s not a bad option for a backup or travel phone. Nothing stands out as being a dealbreaker, it’s a pretty average budget phone, but having Android Go makes it a lot more versatile, and useful, than a feature phone and it can run things like YouTube or other streaming services at 1080p. It has good call quality and solid battery life as well, and if I had to pick between this and a feature phone, it’d be a no brainer to go with the smart phone. It’s a competent budget option that should serve most light users well and I think it’s a good value at this price point. ... show more

  • When you want a minimalist solution for your teenager
It seems that retro is new again as many products continue to push the boundaries of what is modern but also retro. This new phone from AGM is quite a refreshing call back to yesterday with it small form factor and it's minimalist approach including a version of Android Go 16 that pretty much limits what it's used for. There was a time in the past when the primary use of a phone was to do what the name implies use it as a phone. That's what this gives you a very great phone that is limited to 4G which is pretty much good enough for most people for making local phone calls. It is limited to T-Mobile which is one thing you should be aware of and it does require a physical sim as it doesn't use an ESIM. It's pretty easy to set up and it has a version of Android that works good enough on a limited processor that this is running. It's got a nice form factor and finish and it certainly pocketable with a camera that is somewhat limited but still functions good enough for those shots especially since this is intended at a certain market. I got this for my 13-year-old and I feel like it was a great compromise because it doesn't look really poor and old but it also limits the use case and keeps my 13-year-old from using it in ways that I may not want them to. It's also very much a budget experience and I don't think that anybody would use this as a main phone unless again it's a certain use case like with your teenagers. Overall this is using a bunch of older technology but is put together in a fashion and form that works well for modern-day use. ... show more

  • Fragile
Not recommended. The back which comes off is very fragile, and it split in the process of taking it off. The screen is already cracked. Don't expect it to last 5 minutes.

  • The Perfect Phone for a Young Athlete!
I gave this AGM Note N2 to my nephew because he is starting to play sports, and it is exactly what we were looking for. He needs to be able to stay in contact with us, especially when it is time for someone to pick him up after football practice, but he doesn't need all the access and distractions that come with a full-size smartphone. I really like the compact size of this phone. With its 4.96-inch screen, it fits comfortably in his hand and easily slips into a pocket or small bag. It is a practical size for a young person who is active and doesn't want to carry around a large phone. It handles the things he actually needs—calls, texts, Wi-Fi, browsing, and basic communication—without being designed for heavy gaming or demanding apps. The Android 16 Go operating system, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage are more than adequate for his everyday needs. I also like that the storage can be expanded with a microSD card, and the removable 3000mAh battery is a feature you don't see often anymore. It even has a headphone jack, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. One important thing to know before purchasing: this phone is for T-Mobile's native network only and requires a physical Nano-SIM card. It does not work with AT&T, Verizon, or MVNOs such as Mint Mobile, Metro, Red Pocket, Cricket, or Boost. Make sure your service meets those requirements before ordering. For our situation, this phone is a great fit. My nephew can stay connected when he needs to, and we have a practical way to reach him without giving him a larger smartphone with more access than he needs. The compact design, simple functionality, and reasonable price make this a very appealing option for basic communication. ... show more

  • Perfect starter smartphone for autistic child
You can just at the photo I uploaded of the home screen for this phone. My autistic son is very happy with this phone. It's not smarter than him, like most smartphones that are full of useless junk you'll never need or use. Battery life is good and it's perfect size for easy carrying and holding with confidence. No giant cumbersome heavy thing. It works well and even if you don't activate a plan it can still be used for wifi calling. My son is very happy with the apps it is completely compatible with and how well they run. Speed hasn't been an issue for him and I ordered a spare in case he loses this one. Good value for a no nonsense capable phone. ... show more
