When I purchased this item it worked perfectly, the resolution was awesome! However, I had it for a week or so and had not even mounted it or anything and had been taking it outside after dark, (I live in the country, no bright lights or anything else that could have damaged it.) and now after only a week of looking through it watching animals in my back yard, it has started being very blurry and the clarity dropped from excellent to non existent. I have no idea what would cause this, I believe AGM to make a good product. But I guess I got one that had an issue from the factory and was missed. I fully intend to buy another one because I like the scope and when it worked it was great. I just hope when I replace it the next one continues to work properly. ... show more

This is a pretty decent entry level thermal. Way better then the thor4 I had to send back. The mount is nice but I would suggest a good set of rings as I had issues not getting the base of the mount tight enough. Switched to a set of 2 piece rings problem solved. Plus the app for this scope is way better then ATNs, in my opinion. I've used the app and the scope at 20yds apart to recover pests I had dispatched.
