I have been using this for years, when my hair is long , I get waves , when it is short I get curls waves or even a beachy hair look. I use very little product and apply it to damp hair. I then either clip my hair into Small twisted sections on my head or squeeze my hair to create waves. I can also create a bit of curl. I suggest you experiment with the amount, the dryness / dampness and if you want it on the ends of your hair or spread through out. It is a versatile product for a natural look. The BEST feature is It is re - workable. During the day if you can refresh your hair with damp hands? It perks right back up. I have a million products for curly hair. I like this one. It doesn’t have as much hold but that makes it softer and not crunchy which I like. I apply it wet. Need very little. So far very happy with results.

I have very low density hair with tight curls that can easily frizz. This helps create larger curls that help make my hair look fuller than it is. It is a big weighty in feel, but I have adjusted how much I use to help balance the thickness of the product against the results I am looking for.
