Would have given 5 stars, but two of the strings that hold the seeds came loose from the stick. Must not have been wrapped/glued very well because they came off on my first gentle use. The sound is still very nice, but would have liked one without flaws. Not worth the return hassle and will use as is, unless the seller would graciously replace with another rattle.

Great shaker for sensory play. Got this for my special needs child and he loves the noise it makes. More of a deep, woody sound. Fits right in his hand and we just help him shake it. Has become a sensory favorite. Very happy with the product and a pretty cheap alternative to other sensory products out there.

I am reviewing B0FMJJ3ZKJ "GOGHOST African Natural Maracas Shaker 7.8" x3.3" Cacho Seed Pod Rattle Handmade Percussion Gifts Peruvian Musical Instrument - Nature Sounds for Meditation, ASMR, Sound Therapy, Yoga (Pala)". I ordered the Pala version, with the smallish dark brown seeds. Almost all of the videos I can find of this instrument show the seeds attached to long strings gathered on a rope loop. I could only find a single one that showed them on a stick, and that one appeared to have more beads than the item I received. I think more beads on longer strings would give a better sounds and be easier to make pleasant rhythm with.
