I am blown away! This fixed the shudder in my 2014 suburban when I would come out of a coast (going from v4 to v8). We’ve had my transmission taken apart (nothing wrong with it), spark plugs changed, fuel injectors replaced, 2 torque converters replaced, etc.. nothing BUT THIS device has fixed the shudder. This product is easy to use, just plug it in and that about it. It starts to work right away. I brought it for a 2015 GMC Yukon to keep it in the 8 cylinder mode and not worry about the active fuel management cutting it down to 4 cylinder and damaging the lifters or valves, and that exactly what it's doing. ... show more

Easy plug and play afm delete that does work. i was skeptical at first because of the price difference between this and other brands but after talking with a friend who had this exact afm disabler on his truck I purchased mine and couldn't be happier as I hated the v4 mode in my truck.

I have an 2008 Silverado 5.3 and I also have an 2020 Camaro 6.2 10 speed LT1 and this Ange Elec works great in both vehicles. The truck even stopped dropping a few drops of oil on garage floor when it is parked. The Camaro is louder because the two stage muffler stays open at all times and the low r.p.m. torque and power is instant. I love this product and I am going to buy another one so I don't have to keep switching them around... ... show more

Anybody who has a 2014 through 2018 Chevy truck with a 5.3 L engine knows that the cylinder deactivation eventually will cause pretty substantial problems with the engine. It’s a known issue, and can be very expensive. This simply keeps the engine from going from V8 to V4 and back again. It works really well and keeps the engine at a steady V8 at all times. The lights are very dim and do not shine in your face or eyes, seems to be well built, and after 2000 miles of using it, I can say it works well ... show more

I liked this thing for the first week. It did exactly as promised, kept my truck in V8 mode like everyone wants. The reason for the 1 star review is that after the first week, it would kill my battery within an 8 hour work shift. 5 times it left me stranded to the tune of me thinking that something was seriously wrong with my truck. Just unplugged this thing and no problems in a week. Okay so now I could just unplug it while I’m not using it,right? No. My truck starts acting funny when I use it. Over cranking to start and funny shifting. I’m done with this thing. Edit: 4/29/24 This company reached out to me on their own and offered a full refund. They did not ask me to change my review, but as a stand up company I’ll give them a four star rating because they were upfront and honest people. ... show more
