Works great, I thought I could adjust the colors but those different colors only shows up when you turn this purifier on then it stays on blue(if the air is clean). We recently purchased the Afloia Max air purifier on Amazon. It has the digital readout version which changes colors and air speed according to how dirty the air is. We found out that we have the newly updated version (one without the holes shown on Amazon or talked about in the manual). Afloia Support helped us figure this out. They have told us that the user manual has been updated for the next batch of shipments, and the product detail page will be replaced soon. Afloia Support has been very quick, patient, and helpful with figuring out these changes and any other questions we have. We feel that we could get help anytime if we need it. We really like the unit. It looks nice. It is quiet on the normal setting, a bit loud on the highest setting. It has a night mode for bedrooms and such. We have 4 dogs. When you walk in to the house you can smell dogs. We have only used this for 3 days and the furbabies don’t smell up our home! It’s quiet and easy. We will be buying another one for upstairs!

We had an electrical fire in our family room and needed an air cleaner to deal with the smell. We were having a party the next week and needed to clear the air of that burnt plastic smell. I cook A LOT and my house is like a cave and keeps smells for days. It smells like a restaurant all the time. I thought I’d try this and see if it works and it does! It also works in my garage when the hubby smokes his cigars!

    • Perfect, pleasing sound for purifying air.
This has a very pleasing sound for a machine that can clean so many square feet. This low-level sound applies up to medium air flow but gets louder if you turn it on the high setting (which you shouldn't need unless there is an immediate need to cleanse the air). It has a beautiful glow to let you know the status of the air quality and is easy to carry with a handle on the top that folds down. The media could not be loaded. I am very surprised by this afloia air purifier. It is lightweight and portable that can be easily moved to any place inside the house. The design is elegant and very modern that it is actually a nice look in the living room. Suction power is very good enough to filter the pollutants in the air. So how do I tested to see if it is working? I started by putting some bits of cornstarch on the palm of my hands and then I placed my hands under it's blower fan to see if it will lift all those, and yes it did. Another test I did was to set the mode to high and burn a small piece of paper towel to create a smoke. Then I place it close to the air purifier inlet and it starts to sucks the burned smoke on it. On top of that, during the smoke testing the air purifier is smart enough to detect the air quality because of that the color of the led light changed from blue to red. Blue color tells that the air quality is very good, red is poor air quality. Photo's in this review show the before and after looks of the filter when checked. The led light makes it very ambient and very nice at night. There's also a sleep mode which makes it virtually quiet and is very low noise or does not makes sounds at all. An additional feature it has was the timer it can be set it in 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours. Best of all it's carries a lifetime warranty (as seen on the sticker) as of this writing.
