Aestura is a great moisturizer that is effective at hydrating and sealing moisture, while maintaining a lightweight feeling. I really enjoy the consistency; it feels very emollient and occlusive. It is great to layer on top of essences and serums. Compared to all moisturizers on the market, this is one of the top ones for being so effective, even on sensitive skin. I will say I do prefer to use Illiyoon’s moisturizer (Aestura’s sister brand) because I have very dry skin and live in a dry climate (Illiyoon is more thick and occlusive). Loving this cream! I specifically bought it because I was a bit too aggressive with retinol and wanted to heal my skin barrier. After using it consistently for a week, my skin barrier is in much better shape. This thick, smooth cream feels so soft on my skin. It glides really well, and a little goes a long way. Super hydrating but not oily. After using it at night, my face looks moisturized and glowy. I have sensitive skin, and this hasn’t caused irritation or breakouts. This is my now my go-to night cream, and I will definitely use it after doing peels. For me, it’s too heavy to wear under makeup. I tried a few times, but I don’t like the way my makeup looked with it. I do wear this during the day if I’m staying home and not wearing makeup, though. Highly recommend! ... show more

I have very sensitive skin, I apply this lightly as I’ve noticed if I apply it too thickly it causes some breakouts on me. But other than that I have no complaints! I put this on almost every night and when I wake up my skin is nice and moisturized for the day! I don’t even have to put more on most mornings. If I do apply it in the am, I usually put my makeup on shortly afterwards and it interacts well with my foundation which I appreciate! This is my go to everyday moisturizer. I use it day and night since its light enough to use during the day, and works well in layers with other products for nighttime. Its a light cream consistency than absorbs into the skin. Theres no oily feeling left behind and the ingredients are all very clean.

I see why this cream is popular! It is a thick cream in consistency and incredibly hydrating without being greasy or heavy. My skin feels quenched, hydrated, plumped and soft. My skin barrier has improved and is overall not reactive to new product/makeup. This cream has evened out my skin texture as well, but I see no difference in skin tone. I find it doesn't leave me with the tiny comedones that I get with other heavy moisturizers. The size is comparable to other moisturizers and mid range priced.
