The Aesop Reverence and Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash Set is expensive, but very nice. It does have bits of finely milled Pumice that helps to gently exfoliate your skin. I wouldn't use this on my face, but I did find it beneficial on my hands and would work equally good on your feet. I had just finished preparing freshly picked mulberries to make some jam and my fingers and nails were purple. I used the Aesop Reverence and Resurrection hand soap, and it gently and effectively took off the purple stain from my hands and around my nails on the first wash. I would say that the fragrance is a light earthy scent. Product is manufactured in France.

Both these hand soaps smell awful. As much as I want to use them, I can't handle the smell. My hands feel clean and moisturized after using these and I like the scrubbies for exfoliating. The bottles are durable and opened and pump easily. I wanted to liked this set, but this soap is very expensive and smells awful!

I really did not think that hand soap could be really improved upon beyond getting a nice set without a bunch of harsh chemicals. This hand soap really blew me away, I even washed my hands twice because it smelled so good and I was thrown by the texture. It is a little gritty, but that would be the exfoliating feature. This soap really left my hand feeling clean and soft, more like a skin care experience than normal handwashing. I love it!

This 2-pack totally works for my household since my husband and I prefer different scents. My husband prefers more earthy scents like bergamot while I like citrusy scents, especially for the kitchen. He also likes soaps that are exfoliating, whereas I do not. There truly is a little something for everyone. It is pricey for hand soap and I was expecting a little more from the bottles themselves. While the bottles have that amber color to them like other luxury brands, I think having glass bottles would've been a nicer touch. Definitely no complaints from us on the soap itself. They're great.

My first takeaway when I first received it: It's NOT glass. That's crazy to me. I would think a $43 lux hand soap would be in a glass bottle. But it's plastic. I'm not crazy about the Resurrection scent. It smells like pure rosemary, no mandarin, or cedar. However, I will say I love the texture of the hand wash. It feels like honey. Its so nice and rich. But other than that, I don't think it's worth $43. Maybe for special occasions to have in a guest bathroom to impress your guests.

This handsoap is everything and more. The bottle has a sleek and modern appearance and the pump works great dispensing with no leaks. The scent is light, earthy and amazing. I appreciate the particles in the soap for exfoliation. It takes only a very small amount to achieve a great sudsy lather. Once my hands are washed and dried, my skin feels softer and moisturized.

The value for money isn't great in my opinion, however, the soap itself does what I expect with soap ... to clean my hands but not overly strip it of nutrients. the soap lathers well and has a pleasant scent, but I wouldn't rate it as hundreds and hundreds of ranks better than your average liquid soap.
