I had bought this make up mirror in the past so I thought I would give it another try. The magnified side is just perfect for applying makeup, tweezing your eyebrows, etc. and the light is bright enough as well. It's nice that mirror starts blinking once it's ready to be recharged again. Very simple to recharge by just using the cable and plugging it into the cube I use for my iPhone.

I bought this product back on 9/2019 and it is now 11/2022. The mirror still functions, and I do like it quite a bit. I appreciate the different brightness levels, but honestly I basically only use the brightest setting because I'm a bit dark-blind lol. However, the charging port broke several months back. It can still charge, but u have to press down on the head of the charger for the mirror to charge. It's pretty annoying because I don't want to sit next to my mirror for like an hour pressing down on the charger so it charges. I can balance things below and on top of it so I can walk away, but I don't really want to orchestrate that circus everytime. It still works as a regular non-lighted mirror, but that's not the reason why I got it. It's also harder to see anyway without the lighting. The mirror overall had a good run of 2 years and I really liked it, but I probably wouldn't get it again since it breaks relatively quickly.

I have been searching for a good lighted mirror that I can use every day and also for travel that didn't break the bank. I have bought 3 others from Amazon and 2 at other stores and ended up returning all until this one. Most of them had a tiny magnifying mirror that I just can't adjust to. To me, they are either really hard to focus or I end up in a really awkward position trying to see to apply makeup. Some have been too blurry to see anything, possibly because the magnification was too strong for such a tiny space?? This mirror may not be for everyone, but it is perfect for me and I have been using a lighted mirror most every day since I started applying makeup as a teenager. I haven't had this very long, so I don't know how long it will stay charged yet and I haven't traveled with it, so I can't speak for how it will hold up in that respect. However, it is the most stable and well made mirror I have tried out of all of them and it is not blurry like some. One side is 1x and the other magnified w/ sufficient lighting for my 60 year old eyes. Just to clarify, both sides are lighted. It doesn't fold up like some of the other travel mirrors I have tried, but I think I would rather not sacrifice functionality for ease of packing and figure that part out. In my opinion, it is just the right size for both every day use and for travel. And luckily, it easily fits in this makeup bag https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QC6W1PD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 that I already purchased a couple of weeks ago with plenty of room to spare for my other cosmetic items. First time i got this mirror, it was for leaving at my daughter's house that lives across the country. so when I visit I can see my face when I beautify. Its magnifies enough to see eyebrows or any stray hairs (yuck) that you can find to pluck. (Oh not me thought lol). I got the second to pack when i go do traveling with my husband. its so easy to pack. I use to bring my home makeup mirror which was bulky. It charges so it is wireless and the light is so nice and bright. I would say this is a beauty item every person needs who relies on mirrors for their beauty care.

I have several lighted makeup mirrors. But this is the first one I got that has a magnifying side. I usually use a little handheld magnifying mirror for detail work. But to have a standing, lighted mirror that also has a magnifying side! What a game changer, especially for women of a certain age. Our eyes are just not what they used to be, this is a great tool, it’s now my favorite.
