Bought these last minute for a weekend trip to Minnesota in February. They exceeded in all aspects: rubber bottoms offer great traction, wider heel confidently navigated icy sidewalks, incline driveways, and slick parking lots, exterior material repelled snow and snow melt, did not become damp after long outdoor wear, and kept my feet warm and dry. The only issue I had resolved after an hour or so of wear. The toe box and width was at first very tight and far more narrow than a standard width boot typically is, but the material did stretch a bit and was not uncomfortable. They do run small, with a 6 fitting like a 5.5, and given they are narrow, it may be worth going up a half size or width. ... show more

These boots are a favorite! Very soft and conform to your feet, I get a lot of compliments on these, but the best part is how comfortable they are! The soles have a little tread on them for traction which is great for the Northeast winters.

I ordered the stretch black and they do run about a 1/2 size big. I'm typically 8.5 or 9 and these in 8.5 I still had a thumb width extra room in the toes. Super easy to wear. Hardly feels like you are wearing more then 1 inch heel! They aren't super soft comfortable, actually pretty firm footbed but the way they are designed makes walking a breeze! I got a great deal by choosing the almost new option. Price was a 3rd of original cost and boots just looked like someone had tried one boot on and returned so basically brand new! I ordered the black suede, but it’s not suede, it’s like a waterproof shiny vinyl or something. And they run kind of narrow. But I like the Gumby sole bottoms, good traction.
