Description

Metals, Glass, Ceramic, Stone - our formula can produce permanent, high-contrast marks on multiple substrates LaserBond 100 can be used with CO2, Diode, and Fiber/YAG lasers - ensuring that you'll always have the right tool for the job Clean the substrate surface so it is free of any type of contamination or oils. Hold the can 6-8 inches from the substrate and spray using a side-to-side motion for a thin, even and smooth coating. The mixture will air-dry in about 2 minutes. The drying time can be decreased by using a hair dryer, heat gun or a heat lamp. Adjust the focus, power and speed of your laser depending on the substrate to make your permanent mark! Refer to the instructions included with the product for suggested laser settings. Excess product can be cleaned up using a damp cloth or rinsed under plain tap water. It is safe to let the excess material go down the drain. Paul W Harrison is the original inventor of the laser bonding process and the founder in the mid-1990’s of TherMark LLC. He was the first person to think of using a laser, instead of a conventional oven or kiln, as the method to provide the heat necessary to decorate china and crystal or porcelainize pots and pans or a cast iron sink. After selling his interest in TherMark, Harrison went on to found Laser Bonding Technology and offer it's vastly improved LaserBond 100, which is the most cost effective product of it's type on the market today.

Great Super Dark
With this spray u certainly get what u pay for.

Worked for about 10 seconds
Shook the can for a couple of minutes and tried spraying onto some glasss plate. Spray stopped after about 10 seconds. I was fully depressing the nozzle as described in the instructions. Thought maybe it was clogged so removed the nozzle and cleaned with IPA, still would not spray. Removed the nozzle and held a rag over the tube and pressed firmly, still no spray. Amazon will not let me return because of the flammable nature even though they could get it to me, I can't get it back to them. Amending my review, after posting on their Facebook page I was given a number to call and they are. sending out a replacement and would like me to send back the defective one so they can figure out what was the problem. Very professional IMHO. P.S. The portion that I managed to get on the glass plate etched very well with a Snapmaker 2 10 watt laster at 400mm/min and 100% power ... show more

Not impressed
This is a very expensive product and it only kinda does what is advertised. The after-use cleanup is great. The actual laser engraving marks are very different on every surface and in some cases do not really show up at all. Perhaps I need a stronger laser than the one on my Snapmaker 2.0 A350. Based on the result I have gotten, I would say this is a fair product if the price point was $25 instead of $75. None of my etching have achieved a true black etch. Most are grey to dark grey and some are more green. None are Black. ... show more

Works Well - experiment to get best results
Took some experimentation but got it to work well after some practice. Definitely suggest working a few samples to dial it in. Made a lovely set of labeled metal placards for a retirement gift.
