Awesome blackout shades. Easy to install and blocks light perfectly. Thin so they don’t fall down like others I’ve tried. They have a smell when first out of the box but it was gone in a couple hours. Would highly recommend!

This product has served a great purpose for our daughter’s nursery for a solid year or so before falling off. As you can see in the pictures, the adhesive is coming off and the covering is falling off by itself. I’m assuming this is because of the direct sun on it, but it is still disappointing and annoying to have to fix. I got rid of the extra adhesives so I need to find a new solution. I do like that you can cut them to size. Even cutting to size, there are tiny slits of light that come in but it could also be user error. I ended up buying this for my other daughters room and planned on it for our sons, but his gets direct sun all day too so not sure the best solution for his room. They work wonderfully alongside blinds and blackout curtains, or even just the blanket curtains. If you are looking for maximum darkness, would recommend using all 3 together. I’ve found having them up that I don’t open the blinds often because it’s one more layer to mess with, but given that it’s in our kids rooms, that’s okay.

This portable blackout curtain exceeded my expectations! It blocks light extremely well and is very easy to install and adjust. What truly impressed me was the customer service. I emailed the seller to ask for extra Velcro strips to improve the fit, and they kindly sent them to me completely free of charge. Fast, friendly, and very generous support. Highly effective! My window faces south so it gets peak daylight. It is literally a night and day difference with this shade applied. I blocked the top half of the window and the bottom is unblocked (so my cats can still window watch 😅 .. ignore their stuff in the photo.. lol) It is completely opaque and there would be zero daylight if I wanted to block the bottom too. Whether you work nightshift and need to sleep during the day or you're a vampire avoiding the sun, this product will do the trick 😉

This product does what is advertised once it is all set up. That being said, the product is very very thin which i found to tear easily if you are not careful. It does dark out the window to a great degree so it is very functional. I would have preferred a thicker product though. A good clean look and the black color helps it seem darker inside the room. All in all a proper product for the cost.

I like to have it pitch black in my room while i sleep even i if want to take a nap in the middle of the day. There is also a street light right out my window that shines in at night and this blocks it all. Even in the middle of the day with the sun right in the window it bocks out all the light. The only complaint that i have is the sticky on the Velcro was very hard to get off and took some time
