We picked this up as a birthday gift for our 6-year-old, and it's been pretty solid. The first time he tore open the box and got it out, the excitement was real. Not just for him but for the entire family. We've had a couple of RC cars in the past, but the 360° rotation is pretty cool. We took it out to our backyard, and you should've seen it go - zooming across the grass, doing its little flips and stunts. The headlights and music were a neat touch, especially when it started getting a bit dark outside. There have been quite a few evenings when he'd invite his buddies over, and they'd have a little 'car showdown' in our driveway. The battery life seems alright; it lasts a decent while but could've been a tad better. My 7 yr old love this remote control car. Me on the other hand, I think there is room for some improvements. Although they are things I can let go of for the greater good of my sons enjoyment. This remote control car is sturdy and I feel like it has some design flaws... Like having to remove the battery to charge it instead of just making it so the battery is stationary and can plug in directly. Also why not make the remote rechargeable instead of needing batteries? Other than that, we found this remote control car to be easy and fun to use. It is easy enough for him to use and learn as he goes. I think he would have found it cool no matte what but I can admit I was impressed by the 360 degree rotation and the lights. I think children ages 4-11 would enjoy this the most! ... show more
