So far so good, little clay build up to scrape off. Definitely a bigger issue if no grass but that's a clay thing and not a deficit of the tool. Slips on the heel a little if not well fitted by tightening properly. As long as the soil isn't dry it slips right in and it didn't actually take long at all to do the yard and I can go back every so often and do it some more without getting hardcore and wearing myself out or hiring a company. Stay away from shallow utilities like cable tv. But well made product. Like the strength of the pins. While I avoid pavement. Ive had to chase down a kiddo and easily can step out of the grass in a pinch. Would loved to see replaceable plastic/rubber to the metal frame but I suspect they'll last forever in most places. Im in texas, heat and sun will destroy them at some point but as long as the lifespan is good Ill buy more if the heat and sun get them. I think they could experiment with making and selling a dense rubber of different heighta that snaps in the back to hook the boot or shoe heel. Just a thought for the manufacturer. I might try to design something and have a friend print it to hook the rear sole of the boot. If I get several year Id say good product. If I get a decade or more then great product.

So far so good. I'm grateful to the reviewers for different brands that mentioned the likelihood of dirt clogging the spikes. These don't get easily clogged. I only cleaned them off at the end. I used them as I did my spring stick and Branch cleanup, trying to do two things at once. It appears to have been a successful strategy. I have a small foot, and I was still able to get them to fit over my shoes. I do recommend that you wear work boots with these rather than the low gardening shoes I wore. It would eliminate chafing of the strap.

These aeration spikes are great quality and easy to put on and walk in. I aerated my entire lawn I 2 hours without having to rent a machine and get dragged all over my property.

Seemed to be working great for awhile, but as I was stepping down harder to get more depth penetration one of the shoes snapped in half Update, after posting my review I received a replacement almost instantly and have now aerated my entire yard and could not be happier with the performance of this product…would buy again

At first glance you can tell these Aerators are not to be played with. They are made of thick plastic and iron nails so don't step on anyone's toes. The have and adjustable buckle that functions to secure the Aerator onto the base of an adult shoe. It includes orange shoe strings that are easy to assemble. These attachments are big and bulky to support a variety of different size people. At the bottom the nails are embedded and secure for a durable and functional ability that will get he job done out doors. Recommended for homeowners, gardeners, landscapers. Not recommended for children, so please keep them hidden out of their reach.
