I had a really difficult time deciding on a size. I saw conflicting information regarding sizing. There's Amazon sizing and a sizing chart further down from the company. My typical size is 1x-2x. I'm 5'11, 230 lbs. I purchased XL. It fits perfectly, with a little extra room, but definitely not baggy or oversized. It has enough room for a shirt underneath, or just a body suit/cami. It's VERY warm. I'm reading review that say it's itchy; I'm pretty sensitive to materials, especially long sleeve and don't feel it's itchy or distracting. It has the feel of a real Irish/Scottish sweater with some "fluff." I absolutely LOVE this sweater.

This was a beautiful sweater and I really wanted to keep it! I live in the south and the sweater is way too heavy for our climate. I really wanted to keep it but knew that I would probably only wear it one to two days out of the year, I would highly recommend for anyone who lives in a much colder climate . Great for New York, but not so much for the Carolinas.

This sweater is not only adorable, but so comfy!!! I was worried that it would be too hot as the material feels thick, but it’s the perfect temp. Keeps you warm and cozy, but not too warm. I love the oversized look and literally goes well with anything: jeans, leggings, skirt… The color was like a cream color, just as pictured. I felt like I got my moneys worth in this sweater. A bit more than I normally spend, but definitely worth it!

This is a beautiful, heavy, cable-knit sweater. I got it as a gift for my daughter, but wastempted to keep it for myself! Great quality, weight, and warmth, but I won't be the one laundering it, so I can't speak on that.

No seriously. I’m a man. Had a picture taken of me at Christmas wearing this sweater. Got into online dating. Everyone liked that pic of me in this sweater. Things were said to me that would make me blush. Decent sweater material and not itchy!
