What a great kart! It only took me 4 hours to put together! Unfortunately the motor broke immediately getting in and going about 20-30 feet down my driveway. I was told that the chain was probably too tight on arrival. Anyway, I reached out for a replacement motor. They sent the new one, which took about 2 months to receive. While waiting I did some painting and overall customizing, extending the foot rest, etc. When the new motor arrived it looked like it took a beating! The box it arrived in looks good, but the wires seem to have melted and there is even a gouge in the hall wire connector and the hall wires seem melted too. I was done waiting. I dropped a motor from Vevor in the kart and it runs like a dream. After trying it, I also upgraded the brakes and the handle grips. Overall it is a good speed, comfortable, and exactly what I was looking for. I will probably be upgrading it more later with a bigger battery, but if your looking for a good starter kart, this is it. Just check the tension on the chain first, or else you may end up like me and have to put in your own motor. ... show more

I ordered my go kart back in December of 2025 and received it in early January, I like to wait a while before writing reviews to get a good feel for the quality of the product. I have had plenty of time to test the go kart in a wide range of applications from snow and slush to gravel, grass, lose gravel and mud and I must say I was pleasantly impressed with the go kart in most situations. Overall I must admit I am a big fan of the go kart, more specifically the go kart frame and independent suspension setup. I think the very strong and well thought out frame and overall decent out of the box suspension of this go kart as well as the good paint job of the frame is worth the price of the go kart alone, and leaves you with a great starting position for upgrades. That said I must say I was slightly underwhelmed by the overall power of the “stock” configuration. For reference I am 5’8 and 145lbs so maybe slightly taller for this go kart but well within the weight range. That said I never felt like the go kart had any trouble getting moving and getting up to speed, but that riding times would often get cut short by either the motor due to getting to hot to quickly under what I would consider to be normal use. For example 20-25 minutes around the back yard or local trails at a speed ranging from 15-25MPH seems to be the sweet spot for the motor, after that the motor would tend to cut out and would be physically hot to the touch. That and I myself unfortunately had what I can only assume was a “faulty” battery I received with my unit as the battery died/stopped working or even charging all together after about 6 months and probably about 30-40 charge cycles. That said I still would recommend this go kart at this price point for anyone looking for a well constructed frame that leaves you with plenty of room for future motor and larger battery upgrades. ... show more

This is absolutely perfect for a kid under 100pounds Will do 20mph And go around short grass very well. My son is 7 and weighs maybe 40 pounds The motor tends to get slightly hot after he rips the yard a few laps. Yes the yard is cut short too. But the chassis and frame work is definitely something worth making faster and the potential of a bigger motor and controller along with a battery upgrade this will be a ridiculous fun go kart for any adult. I do plan to convert for him to 60-72volt kit I also orderd one for my self to install a huge motor on for 72v to race each other around the yard. Yes it’s hella fun and yes you might need to do some upgrades in the future.! ... show more

So far so good. The instructions are super lacking and the ones included are out of date to the parts I received. I took away one star because there were a couple issues with building it. But I reached out and they were helpful.
