Bought these with the intent of using them as support for my vegetables and vining plants. Since nothing has fully grown up yet, I can’t tell if this will work but I certainly love the look. It’s exactly how I envisioned it. Directions: Directions are ok but not the clearest. My advice is start at one end and continue all the way to the other side, left to right or right to left. I tried to work faster by putting together both straight ends first then adding the curve and that was a mistake. The poles in the drawing look the same so I thought what is the harm. if you do both sides and try to connect, the bars won’t go inside each other. I had to undo everything and start over. Quality control: It didn’t help that they sent one set missing a bar at the top. Since they sent me a new one, and I didn’t check prior to starting myself, I didn’t deduct anything from it but quality control needs to be better. Nothing worse than putting together everything to find your last piece is missing. Time: took me about 1-1.5hrs to put together 2 of these by myself. Quality: these are a little flimsy and move all over when you are putting it together but we taped two arches together which made it sturdier. Since these were for raised beds, the soil is keeping them in place in the ground. I do not know yet if it can withstand any actual hanging veggies or not since I just started my fall garden. I got this as a trellis for my pole beans and it seems to be doing the job. The directions were hard to understand when trying to do the 2 different sizes they said you can make. I made the 5 foot one by accident so I had to redo it to get the 7.5 foot size. It was also missing some screws but the company sent them to me, no problem. Good service there. ... show more

I purchased the arch to use in the entrance to my garden. The assembly of the arch went smoothly until I realized the rods did not match up with the description. The instructions were okay, but I also could figure out the pattern just by looking at each piece. I was a little disappointed to discover there are no spikes or tie-downs for the arch. The over-sight was my fault for not properly reading the description of the product. There was definitely frustration in having to dismantle the arch and rigging it to fit. I found it was helpful to remove the last crossbar rod on either side of the arch and push the bottom into the soil. My clay dirt seems to be holding it in place for now and It's held up during a few storms. Overall, a reasonably priced arch for temporary use or when you don't want to spend a lot of money. ... show more

You get what you paid for but it worked great for us, we used it as an entrance decoration for a garden/tea part theme graduation. We zip tied it to our fence and hung flowers. It was beautiful and everyone loved it. It is not sturdy at all and will need to find a way to anchor it to stand alone.

I actually bought this to support a walking rose bush. It may not have been intended for that purpose as it is somewhat flimsy. If you are using it for fake flowers or vines, it will work perfectly! It will serve this purpose for awhile!
