This is a very versatile rake! I like how the tines can be closer together, like a landscaping rake, or further apart, like a leaf rake. I love that it is metal. We keep breaking the plastic ones, and they become brittle easily. This rake can become seriously long. So, so long. Nearly 100 inches long. I have no idea what you’d need that length for. Maybe reaching up into trees or going across a scary neighbor’s fence to lift a ball back over? Maybe to stand really far back from a crime scene, so you don’t incriminate yourself as you gently scatter debris over the freshly turned earth, making it look undisturbed? Regardless, you have p-l-e-n-t-y of length for whatever your needs are. AND, it’s easy to remove sections to size it down. It’s actually really sturdy for being hollow. I think the many extra sections make it stronger, over one long section, or telescoping sections. It is light metal, so it heats up really quickly. Keep that in mind when you’re using it, because it gets hot really fast in the sun. I plan to add an update if anything significantly changes for this item. Until then, it’s safe to assume everything is still consistent with this review.

This metal rake was easy to put together and I was able to make it the height that was comfortable for me to use, with two extension pipes left over. The metal seems sturdy, not flimsy. The tab used to adjust the rake width is plastic so I adjust it carefully and I think it should hold up. I like the fact that I can take it apart to take it to my cottage when I need it there. This rake is on the smaller side which makes it great for getting between my shrubs, flowers and under my open sided porch stairs. I also love that I will be able to make the rake shorter for my grandkids to use when they want to help to rake the leaves in the Fall.
