It’s a good standing desk for the price. I didn’t have any problems putting it together. It came with all the screws and tools. The only con is that I bought it specifically to use with my walking pad. A part of the leg prevents me from pulling it as close I want it to. It’s a snug fit, but the width just barely fits around the base of the pad. I’m still able to use it fine, I just have to reach a little bit more than I like, but it’s tolerable. A very practical product! Honestly, I sometimes prefer to work standing up, and this adjustable desk perfectly meets my needs! The overall height is just right. Moreover, the adjustable height also accommodates my needs when sitting in chairs of different heights. The entire assembly took me about 30 minutes. All the basic installation tools are included, but if you want to get it done faster, you can use your own tools. The wood of the tabletop is a pleasant surprise; the overall feel is excellent, the surface is smooth and clean, and it has a very high-quality look. I also really like the drawer handles; they are quite unique and make the overall desk feel more upscale, without giving it a cheap feel. This is a sturdy, useful desk. The maker clearly has taken care to deliver a good product. That's visible in little things like the boards for the work surface being shipped in plastic sleeves that protect the corners from being damaged in transit, the fact that there are extra screws in case some are lost or damaged during assembly, the labeling of every single component, and the detailed, well-illustrated assembly instructions. It takes a little while to put together, but it would be hard to do it wrong because everything's so clear. Just finished putting this together and I decided to make a review. I usually don’t leave reviews but I want to make sure I will be able to share how easy it is to put these things together. The instruction is so easy to follow that even if I am not usually good at putting things together I was able to do this by myself. All the parts and pieces are easy to find and labeled and packed accordingly and not to mention the screws and the tools needed are all provided with some extra pieces. The desk is exactly what I need, however... Pros: 1. big enough to hold my laptop, monitor, keyboard and mouse 2. Easily rolls on the carpet 3. Lightweight and very mobile Cons: 1. Assembly was a chore especially trying to line up the screws 2. Shipped with the wrong assembling instructions (setup was for 2 drawer, I purchased a single drawer) 3. Adjusting the height is not easy so I've decided to keep it in the standing position 4. While the wheels roll well on carpet, they tend to lock easily. Well it took about an hour and a 1/2 to put this together otherwise I would return it. It's well over priced at $42+. It shakes but I don't believe it will easily tilt over, not very sturdy. ... show more

    • Near impossible for one person to change the height, and cheaply made.

I wanted to love this table. I bought it to use 2 ways. One at my recliner for my laptop, and 2 as a standing desk when I’m using my walking pad. Unfortunately it is near impossible to change the height alone. It takes one person to hold the table up and another to tighten the locks, and there is another set of stabilizing pins that must be moved as well. Making the whole process take far too long. It’s not worth the hassle to change the height. The drawer is super loose in the brackets. Making it fall out constantly with ease. And the top is in 3 pieces as well, leaving 2 fairly decent size gaps for stuff to get stuck in, they have sharp edge where they come together making putting your arm on the front when working uncomfortable and even painful. I have several pieces of this new furniture with these fabric drawers, so far I had liked them all. Until this one. There are far better options for cheaper. ... show more

I don't understand why the reviews are so low - it's a very smart and straight forward design. It's exactly what I was looking for, and better than I thought it would be. My number one concern was stability, and I am so glad they have base-pins for the part of the desk that goes up and down, which secure it into position as opposed to merely just some friction-based screws (which are also present, but just to ensure the desk doesn't wobble). It's very stable, and I assume the reviews that state it isn't are just people who did not follow the instructions or did not tighten their screws enough. If you want to adjust the height, just loosen the screws and pull the top off the desk and put the base-pins wat the height you want, then re-place the top part of the desk in - trust me, it's a million times easier and doesn't "require two people" like some of the reviews on here say. The shelf is cloth, which was a small surprise (I assumed it would be some kind of cheap particle board) but also it has a faux-leather front that looks cute and fits the color of the rest of the desk. Assembly is straight-forward, and the instructions are very clear and specific, but it does take time. My assembly was about 45 minutes. There are extra screws in case you lose some. All in all, it's cute and stable and very much the vibe I wanted! I could not have asked for more from a product like this. ... show more
