The tines on the rake are durable, I haven't had one bend or snap and I've used it to rake leaves out of gravel. It's light and easy to use, I would say it's one of the better lawn rakes I've had so it works perfectly for what I needed, though the plastic scoops are very small and I find it easier to just pick up leaves by hand. The handle "adjusts" by adding or removing sections so it's not as simple as a telescoping handle, but it is more durable. Everything folds up and stores well, the whole package can easily be packed into a small box and put away. The rake and scoops are easy to clean with just a hose, spray it off and let it dry and it's done. The leaf bags are a bit harder to clean and you may need to turn them inside out if any mud gets in, but it's not really a problem. At $28 it's a fair price, but honestly the scoops are junk and most people will probably not use them. If this was in the low $20 range without the scoops it'd be an easy 5*

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product This is an outstanding value on an outstanding complete set for basic yard cleanup, mainly leaves. It really is a great deal. You get a high-quality, strong rake with a fully adjustable height—just screw in as many handle sections as you want, from literally child-sized all the way up to about as tall as most adults would ever need. You also get two polypropylene, tear-resistant 32-gallon flexible canisters that are actually quite sturdy once they’re set up and you start filling them. Polypropylene is the same lightweight, durable material often used in high-quality travel luggage, so it makes sense that these bins feel strong and reliable for outdoor cleanup. On top of that, they give you the huge leaf-grabbing claws that you slip your hands into, and they let you pick up big piles of leaves at once. They kind of reminded me of diving/swimming flippers—except for your hands and made for leaves. If nothing else, these will inspire your kids to help because they’re honestly fun to use. They also throw in a medium-to-large pair of gloves. They’re small enough to work for a smaller woman’s hand (just slightly big), and they fit an average man’s hands well. Very large hands might find them a bit tight, but “one size” can only go so far. I really love this set—and just in time for autumn! One piece of advice, however: line the flexible polypropylene bins with your own 32-gallon leaf bags so that everything stays neat and ready to go. It seems like common sense and most people will do it automatically, but I didn’t see it mentioned in the photos or instructions, so it’s worth noting. The other small thing to mention is that you need to insert the reinforcing spine around the top of the canisters so they hold their rigidity. It’s a little bit tricky and takes some patience—not horrible, and if you’re fit and agile enough to rake leaves, you’re definitely capable of inserting the spine. Overall, this is a product I am very pleasantly surprised with and it definitely earns a solid five stars.

THIS is the rake I've been looking for for years. It is so difficult to find an extremely strong, extremely sturdy, rakes up everything including small rocks without any issue, RAKE that's not a million dollars. Along came this delightful kit, which I have been eyeing for those yellow scoopers for awhile now. The scoopers are seriously great too, and the straight edge lays flat for leaf dust in the same way a dustpan does. The bags are strong and quite useful, as are the gloves, but the rake is just super. It's metal instead of plastic, really large and easy to use, and the tines are very sturdy. Also a really reasonable price. You know you're of a certain age when you're excited about a rake but I'm telling you, it's been a pleasure to clean up the back yard leaves this year especially with the extras. Obviously I highly recommend this! *This has been another honest review from your friendly local autistic Vine Voice.*
