A dumbbell gets the job done for the price you pay. I love that you can adjust weights on the fly, saving some time during your workouts when doing different routines/exercises. The only downside is that with the added functionality it comes with a plastic casing that holds the weights, which does keep the weights from falling off the dumbbell using its mechanism, but worries me over longer periods of use. I will have to wait and see, but so far so good. Aside from the plastic parts of the dumbbell, I think it's good value if you can afford to pay for it as compared to competitors' prices. I will say the build quality does seem better for the more expensive but the price is nearly double on average as compared to this one. (Also be aware that in purchasing this you are just purchasing 1 singular dumbbell, not 2)

I feel as though the photos should match what is being promoted for those of us who don't take the time to read the description ;) Some of us like to work "smarter" not "harder" and like things to just be easy.
