We looked for Adirondack chairs at several furniture stores. They were priced anywhere from $300 to $499. We found this Yardcom chair on Amazon for $98. We got it in a day or two, easily assembled it, and we had the exact equivalent of the best of the chairs we had seen at far greater prices. This chair may in fact, be even more solid, and the color, red, is wonderful.

This is a comfortable chair constructed of a durable plastic type wood. Assembly was straightforward, taking about 25 minutes from start to finish. I used a power drill, which helped to get the screws through the pre-drilled holes which are exactly the right size for the screw without the threads. This helps keep everything aligned and tight fitting. The screw heads are color matched to the chair which is a nice touch. The chair weighs little over 40 pounds once built and is sturdy and comfortable. It's not an issue to spend a couple hours in the chair without getting sore. I did notice some of the plastic fibers peeling on some of the edges of the boards, but they cleaned up with some light sand paper. The boards are not as thick as pricier chairs and do have a little flex, but not enough to be a concern.

Beautiful chair and easy to install. The imitation wood on his surface is very realistic, and overall quality is very study and good, it is much better than the picture. Love this "white oak" color and super comfortable to sit on. Recommend to anyone interested in this chair!

Okay, so I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about a plastic Adirondack chair at first. But let me tell you, this thing is a game-changer! The 110° Ergonomics design is surprisingly comfortable, and the extra-tall backrest provides excellent support. I've spent hours lounging in this chair on my patio, and it's become my favorite spot to unwind after a long day. The HDPE all-weather plastic is a lifesaver; I don't have to worry about it getting damaged by the elements. Plus, the natural color blends in beautifully with my outdoor decor. This chair surprised me, I was not expecting it to be this quality when I ordered it. The material is a composite wood, with the look and feel of a Trex brand deck. Assembly took some time as the holes needed to be threaded for each screw you put in. You could save a lot of time by using a ratchet or drill to assemble, but I did it by hand with the Allen key they provided and this was tedious. One of the issues i encountered with assembly was that the left arm holes were not correctly drilled, which actually surprised me because every other part of the chair was great quality so for those two holes to be off seemed abnormal. The problem with this is that as a result I had to broach two new holes, which damaged the entire left side of the chair and now I have concerns of the stability as a result. Otherwise though the chair is comfortable and a good size. It is very heavy due to the material used, but that's good so it won't blow over, and it looks great I do have one concern about durability (besides for the defect mentioned above) and it may only apply to the "shell" design. The last slat on the bottom of the seat closest to the back is not a full rectangle. It was cut out to accommodate the curvature of the back in the shell design. This make the spacing very comfortable and the design looks premium, but also this compromises the strength of the seat. When you sit you can actually feel the chair flex in this area (and I am definitely nowhere near the max weight for this chair). This slat is very easily flexed by hand when not sitting, I fully expect this will break over time. I have attached a photo of the slat in concern

This chair comes disassembled, but is very easy to put together. Only took about 10 minutes or so, and it should be around forever. It is made out of composite material, not wood. that makes it waterproof, and Weather resistant. It has a great finish on it, and is actually very comfortable, even without a cushion. They do sell cushions, specifically for this type of chair though, if you desire. Great upgrade to any patio area, everybody who sees it is jealous. It was supposed to be my chair, but my wife seems to have taken it over lol. I think I need another one. Great product, great price, very well-made, very easy to put together, and looks great. Highly recommended.
