I love the shoe. The wider toebox is wonderful for those short stops you make when running up to the kitchen line. I love the stability of the shoe and the support for my ankles. Definitely will look at buying the same shoe when I’m in the market for another pair. The only downside is the color choices would prefer brighter colors maybe some blues, some hot pinks or some with a pattern.

I was looking for a good court shoe that would provide the court stability but agility to flex to court movement and provide the shoe construction and engineering to do so. Based on the reviews on the Avacourt shoe I researched, this shoe seemed to fit the bill. I had previously purchased the Adidas court shoes(more fashion then athletic) that had the Comfort fit insole that was delightful. So I was hoping the Avacourt may be the right shoe. When I got them, I had to break them in somewhat as they were quite stiff and I had to try readjusting the laces to get the right feel across the top of my foot. As I have now worn them about 6 times, I still find that the right shoe seems to have a tighter feel across the top of my foot, just above the shoe laces and doesn't seem as cushioned in that area of the shoe as the left shoe does-- a quality control issue? The bottom insole on both is not as cushioned or comfy as the other Adidas court shoes. So these shoes are okay and I'll continue to try and work them in-- but I had hoped for a better fit and comfort as new shoes.

I love the way Adidas tennis shoes fit my feet, and these Avacourt shoes are no exception. They provide good support and cushioning for all the ways my feet move on the tennis court. The styling is a bit odd -- they look like that are covered with clear plastic in places -- but I quickly got used to that. I wear between an 8.5 and a 9, depending on the brand and type of socks I'm wearing. Because I tend to wear thicker, Thorlo socks for tennis, the 9 fits well. (I tend to wear a 9 in Adidas tennis shoes, although sometimes I encounter a model that's too big.) The first time I wore these, I forgot that I was wearing new shoes.
