I've been searching for a backpack like Lara Croft's from the PC game "Tomb Raider: Anniversary" for years since I got sick of full-size backpacks, which always seem to put all the weight on the small of your back (worst place for it!!!). This little pack is perfect for keeping the weight higher on your back and better for your body. It's a great size for day to day essentials like a book, thermos, snack, phone, and first aid kit, plus room for a water bottle and packable umbrella on the outside mesh pockets. I adore it, and recommend it highly. It could probably fit a small tablet, but not a laptop, but I haven't tried. The only ways it could really be improved would be: 1) for it to be made of cotton rather than polyester (this would fix the problem of it smelling bad from sweat, and the problem of the straps tending to cut into your flesh if you've got it packed real heavy (as every guitarist knows, cotton straps are so much better)), and 2) the inner pocket in the main compartment being located not up against your back (because if you put small, hard things like nail clippers and tweezers in it, you can feel them through the padding). But it's really designed well other than that and seems pretty durable, and I'm so glad I found it! ... show more

I purchased this initially for my 9 year old for our vacation, so that I didn't have to hold all of his things for him while we were out and about. This backpack is definitely mini, but it fits so much! It's a perfect size with excellent and durable material. The only setback is that the straps are a little rough - think car seatbelt - but I think they'd really only hurt if you were carrying some bricks around in that backpack. This mini backpack has become my purse on most days! I got it originally in gray a couple of years ago and use it when walking my German shepherd multiple times a day, recently bought it in black. It easily holds my speaker and a big water bottle or two; there is a mesh pocket in the main part of the bag that zips close. The front pocket can fit a lot too - I keep my mace, knife, dog poop bags, keys, earbuds and glasses in it no problem. It also has a mesh side pocket on both sides, I use one for smokes and the other for sunglasses. I almost exclusively wear tank tops and have yet to have an issue with the straps bothering my arm pits. 10/10 love this bag! ... show more

I like the look and the storage compartments. I just wish that the straps had some sort of cushioning or softness. It's only when I'm wearing sleeveless tops that it's a bit uncomfortable, so may not be an issue for most.
