People were complaining about the small not fitting guy shoes so I got the medium. Those are size 12 and they fit just fine. I don't know if Amazon will keep my pics next to each other but there's one pic of it half zipped up and the other is of it fully zipped. I bet you could fit 14s in there. They hid the shoulder strap in the shoe compartment also, at first I thought they forgot it. The shoulder strap only adjusts on one side. Might not be a problem for some people, but the way I like to wear it it brings the plastic piece way too close to the pad on the strap so it rubs against my arm or shoulder. I also don't know what the deal is with those stretchy straps that come attached like it's a price tag. But they're kind of functional for wrapping around the whole bag on each side to keep things in place. I'm keeping them on there for now. It also has another small pocket inside to throw your cell and keys or whatever in. Great weekend bag for like Vegas, or if you're going somewhere tropical or all inclusive and you don't need to bring a bunch of nice clothes stuff this full of swimsuits and tank tops, pair of Keens gtg.

My daughter needed a gym bag to transport her Taekwondo sparring gear and fell in love with the appearance of the Adidas Defender Medium duffel. The Adidas Defender bag is stylish and affordable, and from a purely cosmetic perspective the bag is nice. However, from a functional, utilitarian perspective, not so much. The Adidas bag is sufficient for my daughter's purpose, as her sparring gear is light-weight, and fortunately the chest-protector and head-gear acts as a rigid frame within the gym bag to help the bag to hold it's shape. Without the rigid nature of her protection gear - the bag would likely collapse and fold up in the middle (while slung using the shoulder straps), with even the lightest of loads. The canvas is very thin and the bottom support "padding" is equally thin and lacking. I'll give the bag 4 stars, as it was affordable and it does meet our specific need...but for any other purpose, I would've likely sent it back.
