I wear a women's size 9 and bought a Medium. They fit comfortably without excess sock at my toes. These are double the price of the two pairs of "adidas Unisex Rivalry Soccer (2-pair) OTC Sock Team, Black/White, Medium US" for about the same price, but I ended up buying two more pairs of these "Copa Zone Cushion 4 Soccer" socks because: - the foot area is bigger and not as tight on the sides as the Unisex Rivalry socks. There is more room for my toes to stretch out. - the height of the knee high is slightly lower than the Unisex Rivalry socks which goes a little past the bend in my knee so I end up pushing the sock down or folding the top over. With these Copa socks, they fit comfortably below the bend in my knee. I am 5' 4." - the moisture wicking properties seem to be even better than the Rivalry: these Copa socks are: 98% Recycled Nylon, 2% Spandex Rivalry are: 93% Polyester, 3% Natural Latex Rubber, 2% Nylon,2% Spandex I am wearing these socks inside a walking knee height boot for my broken foot. My foot is less hot and sweaty and more comfortable. - There is more padding with these which seems to include the toes and heels. both have padding under the ball of the foot.

Ordered the black first, then the pink a week later. Both are a size small for my 8 year old daughter, who wears a size 2 shoe. The black have been worn once and washed/dried once. They fit big around her heel with that first wear, but after the first wash they shrunk, and they now fit perfectly. The pink seem much bigger than what the black were, before I washed them. I'm hoping the pink will shrink to the same size as the black, because they're huge. If you don't want them to shrink, I'd wash on cold and hang dry. Regardless of all that, these are very comfortable cushioned socks. My daughter also has a purple pair thag she's worn for 3 years now, which are still in great shape, and I'm expecting these two pairs will last just as well.

Fortunately I noticed the note on the product photo sizing chart or else I would have re-purchased the size medium as before when it is now a size small. You can see the in the photo that old (MD yellow) and new (SM white) are about the same.
