I have a 2017 Explorer, with the lugs torqued to about 100 ft lb, and this thing could only bust off one out of six lugs that I tried. Then it got so hot to the touch, it felt like it was burning up. So there's no way it would be able to handle a tough suspension bolt like a control arm. Save your money and get something that will perform as advertised, because this one doesn't come close.
