I got the black ones so the clear pictures are "before" / black is "after." They are unique without standing out too much, and the housing color seems to have no impact on effectiveness. In the daylight, they don't stand out a ton, which I like. Totally fixes the Altima headlight issue--I feel like I have super vision compared to my stock headlights. I got 2 pairs of the same LED bulbs (same for low and high beam) and they work great. Install was simple but still somewhat challenging for me as a total beginner--biggest piece of advice is that everything really only goes together one way, so if you really have to force something to fit, make sure you're not missing something or caught on some other part. Take it slow and you'll be fine. I needed a ratchet, 10mm socket, and a phillips screwdriver. A trim plug puller is nice to have but not necessary. Once they're installed, you MUST adjust the beam angle so you don't blind other people on the road. This is a necessary part of the install, so don't skip it. You'll need a long phillips screwdriver for that part, I think the one I used was 10". We'll see how they hold up and if they get water inside them, but they are great so far in clear weather. ... show more

These have some weird hot spots and cold spots on the projected light coverage. At full distance, you hardly notice, but anything up close gets some goofy looking patterns of light on it. Chromatic aberration is very present along the top of the light band, with heavy purple fringing. They are better than the faded, clouded OEM assemblies that were losing their reflective coating inside. I just wish Nissan hadn't used a projector design. The lights themselves went in almost without issue - the passenger side had some fitment issues. Nissan engineering on what you had to do to replace them is appalling. We were suffering from dull headlights due to the reflective coating failing in the original assembly, my husband and I followed a youtube video that showed us how to install them ourselves and it took about 3 hours start to finish, and we're basically beginners when it comes to car maintenance. My low beams were not even 12 feet in front of me the difference I now how is mind blowing. I can see so much more now. I hate night winter driving but now it feels safer having the road actually light up! It did take 2 hours and a YouTube video to figure out how to install but worth it
