Description

Lectrofan Alpha is a small wonder that you'll want to take with you everywhere you go with your little one. It plays your choice of seven gentle soothing sounds including a heart-beat, two different fans, two white noise variations (pink noise and Brown noise), and two variations of ocean waves. It recharges with the included USB cable, so there's never a need to bring batteries, and it plays for up to 40 hours per charge at low volume. I have one of the standalone lectrofan units, which I absolutely love, but traveling with it felt precarious. I couldn't find a purpose-made case for it, and while it traveled fine, it felt wrong to keep shoving it in a bag without a care in the world. This little guy has saved my butt. The selection of sounds is lovely, and the slim profile means it's easy to slip into any random pouch or pocket and then into a bag. Love that it's usb-c charged, because that's one less cord to worry about making sure I have. Puts out a great level of sound and keeps me sane when I'm sleeping in new/unfamiliar environments! I bought this for travel. I used to take my lectro fan EVO with me, but this is much smaller and still plenty loud. The battery lasted for 2 full nights before I had to recharge it.

I needed a white noise machine for nightly use that doesn’t use a cord (my kitten immediately chews through any cord he finds) and this does the job! I have it on about 60% volume right next to my head and end up needing to charge it every two nights. I really love this thing, but I do wish the battery life was longer. The only reason I give 4 stars is because on the nights I’ve forgotten to charge it, if it dies in the middle of the night and I don’t notice, I’ll wake up a few hours later to a loud “CHHHT CHHHHT CHHHT CHHHT CHHHT” and it scares the living hell out of me every time. Not sure why it does that, but if I remember to keep it charged it’s not a problem and works great! ... show more

Sound is pretty weak and it’s convenient in that you charge it on the go but it should really be a bit louder. Compared to the full size plug in from the same company, this one is very weak. Charging seems to last a couple hours. Works if you’re in a pinch or really need it for a stroller walk/car ride but I would otherwise not choose to buy this. If you’re thinking of using this for a vacation and will be staying at a hotel/airbnb, just get the full size version. ... show more

I was extremely hesitant to get a travel size white noise machine, but was extremely happy that I did. This white noise machine saved my life! The white noise machine has different modes to choose from (we use the fan option). Changing modes and volume are extremely easy! I also wanted to point out that the volume is surprisingly very loud for a product so small. We've been using this since the baby was 16 weeks old. He was having so many issues with falling asleep and staying asleep during all of his naps (his naps were ranging from 20 minutes to 45 minutes). Once we purchased this white noise machine, he started napping for 1 hour to 2 hours sometimes. If we needed him to wake up earlier, we would just turn off the sound and he would just slowly perk up. It was like night and day. He's 10 months now and it works just as well. This also helps so much if you're on the go! You just clip it to the side of the car seat or stroller. I highly recommend all LectroFan products to all parents. This will change your life! Their also have an amazing customer service team for any issues you may encounter. ... show more
